The thread on Arrow made me remenber the scribe scrolls skill.
What if all mages (Invocker, Battlemage, Necromancer) could scribe any of their spells into a scroll ?
For example, a BMG could scribe the Sear spell, and would get a:
Object 'Sear Battlemage' is type scroll, material paper.
Extra flags: none.
Weight is 0, value is 4500, level is 45.
Level 45 spells of: 'Sear'
You have a feeling only a battlemage can use it.
Of course, scribe would have a mana cost perhaps equal to Spell cost x10.
So scribing a Sear scroll would cost you 350 mana.
This has a very interesting RP potential. Affects PK little as you cannot recite scrolls in combat, only open with them.
And this appears to me easy to code.
Just a check if Mage has spells >1%, if it's a spell, and just poping fields into a scroll.
