So there has been a lot of talk about needing new qraces, while I am not sure I agree that we have enough active players to fill the current slots, I did have an Idea that I wanted to share with you all.
My suggestion is that we have a qrace for all creatures that are greater than man sized or stronger; giants, ogres, minotaurs, certain werebeasts, dwarves, and duergar. I thought we could make this a Titan class. Where avatars and crusaders serve gods, titans almost always stand in defiance of gods. I might allow both atheism and agnostics to apply.
Rather than actually changing the character class, I believe it would be more fitting to merely alter several class skills. For example; a warrior titan's bash would likely hit all assailants not just the man confronting him, just as a titan berzerker with multiple heads could likely headbutt all his foes at once.
I wanted to throw this out there, it seemed like a thought worth sharing. I would love it if some of you could place a few stones on this foundation I have laid.
I very much like the idea of atheism based qclass. I actually love it and I think titans (more of a qrace than a qclass) fit the spot perfectly.
That being said, lets cut the crap and forget you mentioned mass bash and mass headbutt and discuss something that is actually useful, if such a discussion can be held in the open forum at all
[edit] Actually, as a start, why not let them be titan size?

I do too, but I have to wonder who I'd be writing my application to, and who'd be using their power to turn me into a titan.
Brambus: He's already been making small men into Titans™ for years.

Cool Idea.
As for the origin of Titan powers -> magic/ritual. After all the gods are not better than us, they are just more experienced, one day you will learn how they did it, and you to can defeat the gods.
You can also have a Quest for the Temple of Aabahran, the monument to the power of mortals (temple here is a mockery of the god's temples), where the previous Titans left the Ritual apparatus.
+1 Size really scares... but if it has Vulnerability, I am up to it.
It's what ? Tiny < Small < Normal < Giant < Huge < Titan
Can you imagine it ? Eat a pill of Enlargment and pop you have +3 size over a human ....
Of course this can be balanced, with Titan power - Grants 500 hours of Enlargement spell. No more pills to stack enlargment.
Or Titanship could be a a power(skill) that works like Werebeast transform. More balance, but less kick ***.
We could just dump stone giants and add titans instead.
The problem here is the vuln I think. Are you going to give them better melee stats than ogres (str, con, size) and try to find a bigger vuln (ex. less equipment slots)?
If not, how will they be different from giants or other melee races?

First of all, it is tiny < small < human < giant < titan (I think). Ogres, minos and giants are giant size. When they eat a sack they become titan size, for a short period of time. A have never seen a NPC bigger than Titan and I do not know if it is possible for a natural Titan size to get any larger than this (I doubt it is), what I mean is I don't know if there is a coded size that is bigger than Titan.
Second, being a perma titan size brings more negatives than advantages - you will be getting like 3-4 rounds lag from trips.
And you can't mount anything.
Only certain mounts that cost like 25k maybe.
Titan size full time, cannot enlarge.
Limit weapons because some would just be too darn small for them to hold effectively.
I like the idea of align based effects, kind of a skill like a "stomp" -
-Evil could cause a fissure(fireball)?
-Neutral something similar but causes Thunderclap?
-Goodies cause Hurricane while in water areas?
An ability similar to another IG that since they are so large they can step up and down into areas where other creatures might have to fly.
Definite mental vuln.
If a qrace, limited to certain melee classes.
If a qclass maybe limit to only giants can apply.
Just some ideas. I like it.
Under a permanent slow affect.
I mean, Large size creatures require more movement. So, Titans should require a lot more.
Let's see....they only get to keep HALF of whatever lives they have before they remort from 50.....
Only one from each align....
And then I won't have to shelf all my medium or smaller melees.
Actually, I would slow them a little except when they are on there foundation races home turf. Storm giants are fluid on water, a fire giant would lap you going around the lava pools, Minotaurs are swift on the frozen ground, ect.
Addition to last post; When a minotaur titan stomps he causes a stampede.
i would be interested to hear what the imms think about something like this.
