is it possible to either make mals be removed from victory (instead of having to walk north) or change the arena rod of enchantment item to a material that doesnt shatter when you drop it? Right now the mob that you fight casts blind regularly, and when you walk north blind the mob drops the glass rod because mals are cured after the prize is handed out. Having to wait 9 hours for blind to drop, or have your prize shattered, is annoying. Also fairly pointless
Glass item in the arena
gyvel potion?
Well you can burn up consumables to get a staff that is likely going to blow up your weapon 5+ times before you get one enchanted moderately. I used 8 red potions, and failed all 8. It just doesnt make sense why you would win in the arena, then your prize would be thrown on the ground is all.
Dunno, I've had such problem in 1 out of 10/20 battles. Usually the wright just destroys me :D. But when I kill it, never had a problem with the blind, may be cos of the saves. Dunno.
Red potions cure at level 42, gyvels are level 45. You're going to fail more often with reds than with gyvels.
For the material of the rod, we'll discuss it. Don't expect it to be changed before the arena equipment gets looked at for the rebalance, though. Personally, I'd rather the mob just give it to you rather than potentially dropping the item.
The only trouble I can see with the mob giving it to you is you'd have to add in the restrictions only to blindness. Otherwise, someone could stack their inventory full and then go and get several glimmering staves without having to worry about inventory limit.
The wight isnt the mob in question. It's the chimera.
The rod of enchantment is useless anyway. like 90/100 times, your going to destroy any weapon worth a fuck due to its high lvl and the low lvl of the enchant.
It might be a level 45 item, but the Rod of Enchantment casts at level 60.
I've enchanted a number of items that way.
Just stay in the constraints of enchant weapon and you'll be fine.
it is the highest level enchant possible. Max you can hit with it is 8/8 (normal enchant is 7/7). It just takes forever.
My comment was only directed at having the mob hand people the items, blind or not. If you change the mob alone, then people could abuse it to carry more period like glimmering staves. I'd just make all the items not glass and keep it simple.
Seems easy enough to just have a prize chest in the room and have the mob put the items in there regardless.
