How about the Adv self command being made available. Ranking is a real pain in the arse these days trying to find a group is harder than winning the lottery. Perhaps limit the amount you can advance yourself but It would make things easy.
The real hardcore can still progress as they want, other get to 40 or so then bang couple of adv self and they are at 50. Undertrained perhaps but with work that can be fixed quickly enough. It may have been mentioned before Ive been away and trying to get back into things, but ranking is proving a real pain.
Do guild quests. You can normally gain a Rank in a hour of play, most of the time.
Log everyday 5 min, until you get, you are allowed to quit message.
Do 2-3 guild quests during that time.
Join a Cabal. Trade in your CB for XP.
You can just have fun doing cabal stuff for a few hours, then exchange that for a rank.
Thanks I did not realise you could exchange cb's for xp. I guess im just very impatient and I tried the guild quests but died when I was roughly two quests from reaching peak another death and I have an exp hole of 42000, so thats that character done for :eek:. How about more exp for quests then lol or have more quests like the star stones for mid level. While we are on it 2000 for description why not make it 10000 lol.
Guild quests used to give about 5 times the amount they do now, but then people just started doing them and not grouping, since the quests were generally easier and less dangerous than hanging around the same place for 10+ levels.

Yeah, I remember awhile ago I was mouthing off to this big baddie who I knew was JUST above my pk range. Suddenly I got some random chunk of rp-exp and he came in and lag locked me to death and then full looted...curse that rp-exp.
That experience was of course, completely counterfactual. I mouth off to people BELOW my rank, but never above. Wouldn't that be a great/terrible/hilariously embarrassing story to have though? IMMS aren't that cruel though.
