Quest points.

Hi,

Why not get quest points for the quests you complete and have like hidden quest vendors that sell eqs for qps, or even better, let qps be exchangeable for like 2% on a skill past 75.

Would those QPs be gained from the normal quests or they can be gained from the quests from the Guildmaster too?

I could see it being from regular quests...MAYBE from clanmaster quests...but considering you can dictate how many guild quests you take...might be abused.

Regular and otherwise. A hard quest would give you like 5 qps or something.

Give it some more thought, they revert back to reality then think - will this really fit into FL? It sounds more like a everquest or fable thing.

I'm not trying to down your idea, even though it might seem like it.

I think it would really depend on exactly what the quest vendor could distribute. I'd be more in favor of a quest/rp/things other than pk point system with some vendor that offers ONLY things that would in no way affect PK. At the same time...most of the quests I can think of already have some version of reward. I like you are thinking, I'm just not entirely sure how it would be done and still maintain balance.

I have played on several muds with quests implemented. The stock questor mob was always El Cid or some variationb of that. You would get 1-4 QP depending on how hard the quest was, with a whole range of quest gear from weapons, to armor, to spells, to little tokens which if you got enough would let you restring an item, get you a title, etc etc.

Personally I love this idea. I think it would fit great into FL because look at it, 60% of our leveling is done solely through questing anyway, why not give something for bored pinns to do. I will tell you right now there where times in Pildo's life where I would just stare at the screen accrueing hours of play and accomplishing nothing besides some army movement.

No qp's unless they're for GROUP quests. I hate anything that would promote a solitary lifestyle on a character. We need more interaction not less and this would promote less interaction.

Besides, we already have CP's that practically give access to extra things, so, some form of qp's would be welcome for non-caballed only.

Hmm....qp's for non-caballed level 50's anyone? Might be just what we need to give a little UMPH to non-caballed players.

I see it kinda like a cabal for uncaballed chars. I like the idea, but it would be better suited for buying consumables rather than eq.

Why is everybody such an eq nazi? Why not? Why can't there be a TON of available eq so you can pick and mix cool sets and everyone can be happy? Sure, quest items I see being like staves, scrolls, potions, whatever, but come on dudes. Open your brains.
