That's friggin' hilarious.
Second...
I agree on the Iku. It is rather pointless. If you didn't want to rework it entirely we could give it some kind of effect.
What can I say...dey is pretty sexy. It's mainly his accent that gets me all hot and bothered. How can he have an accent over aim? Imagination.
might as well get rid of kick and magic missile for every class as well.
Magic missile was made useful.
Clerics use kick in those "up close and personal" battles vs. a magic resistant enemy and when they're low on mana.
Oohh... magic missle pwns.

hahaha, does palwen ever get jealous?
If Ikuzachi lagged one round like similar spells I bet ninjas would use it time to time.
ummm...probably not. Throw would still be more useful for the poison chance. Magic shuriken + envenom on an ogre > ikuzachi (you gotta remember how poison affects recovery)
If they are already poisoned, or if you are a doublesheath ninja, it may be useful to do damage with only one round of lag if you anticipate them fleeing.
Oh...I'm not trying to say that if it were more like most spells that it wouldn't be considerably more useful...well I guess without seeing it in action as 1 round lag I can't actually say it wouldn't be useful.

Sure you can see! Even if the spell was only one round, push would still be more useful, damage and tactically...
I would much rather see this spell reworked into something useful...not just there and we might use it "once in a great while under very special circumstances"..
Remember that any upgrade to this spell comes at the opprotunity of cost of not being able to do another action (lag, throw, etc)
Ideally, this spell should be useful in a completely different way than those existant abilities (ex. not for damage, not for poison) otherwise it will be simply redundant...
Everyone knows ninjas only assassinate anyway.
How about keep the damage, savable by affliction.
And make the spell have a side effect. Fear, savable by mental.
This way you get another weapon for meele Ninjas.
Large sized giant warrior sudently loses 10% on his bash skill, there goes the bash locking game.
10% of defences,
Add Poison,Nerve,Caltrap. And you can probably stand toe to toe with a Warrior.
One problem with this idea...ninjas aren't supposed to stand toe to toe with warriors and not end up a smoking pile of debris.

What about thieves? Rudsvinn.

Small chance to paralyze could be interesting... but it seems like that would too easily become too strong. Unless it was a very small chance.
Zero chance.
Ever fought one of the old Undead Ninjas ?
That thing + Push was deadly.
Anyway, if a Warrior decides to stroll into town with no Sanctuary and gets Strangled + Blinded and the Ninja Nerves+ Caltraps him, It's the Warriors fault.
If the ninja happens to Fear him, while the Warrior panics, to bad.
Warriors should not be a Autowin in Meeele just because they are warriors.
There are many clerics that can outMeele most Warriors in combat.
Not that i play any of them.
I didn't say warriors were an autowin nor did I say that a well-played ninja couldn't take down a panicking, unprepared warrior.
What I said was, as a class to class comparison, a ninja should not be able to go toe-to-toe with a warrior. They don't put out the pure raw damage and don't have the defenses to survive.
And using strangle and other assorted skills also, in my mind, isn't "toe to toe" fighting. It's using the strengths and abilities a class was given to compensate for their lack of melee power. Toe to toe is a straight up slugfest...in that case, a warrior should win that fight.
