Healing sleep would put the healer or another into a deep healing sleep (2) hours in game time.
What it does it rids all ailments, and refreshed the entire body when they wake. All hp's mana and movements is restored. This is a very powerful prayer and costs the healer 100 to 150 mana. Also the healer is drained by
-2 strength -2 dex for 10 hours similar to the way resurrection works.
Thank,
Cezar
Not trying to be a bad sport, but that seems WAY too strong. You could basically never die to anything. Co gate, co 'healing sleep, and in two ticks your done? It takes more than two ticks to esuna and heal up. And more than 100 mana.
Maybe if you worked on it, like it heals half of your current damage back, and rids maybe a mal or two. Otherwise your getting into some bad balance issues.
yeah I agree.. you are basically talking about a super-buff camp for healers... and healers are already pretty much indestructable..(longest lived chars in the game for the most part) you'd have to be pretty high to die with one as it stands
healers and healing sleep
3 ticks, and cost of 200 mana
its not really a negotiation... I think you need to reason out why healers need this skill to begin with? They have all the spells required to cure any malady, and the strongest healing spells in the game. If you can't get yourself to full health in under 3 ticks, something is wrong.
Telufial has a point.
Whilst we value the idea, its just not going to work.
My family has a saying, "Good plan, **** idea." This falls into that category.
Healers already have use of the most powerful healing spells in the game, not to mention the use of STAVES. Anyone with the use of staves can heal like a healer, giving them this + a skill that they can escape ANY situation is beyond reason. Unless healers were removed from every PK aspect in the game.

Which isn't a bad idea in itself.
Yes it is.
Healers play just as vital of a role to this game as any other class.
Why?
Well, the healer:
-
Is a newbie-friendly class
-
Balances undead/vampire/lich quest classes
-
Brews a mean cup of tea
healers play a part in PK now?!
I used to have a good view on Healers, now i just pity them.
People, do not play Healers, Play Clerics. Leave healers to Newbies.
You are missing one of the great and Vast aspects of FL, PK.
With a Cleric you have almost the same emergency Eject button Portal->Gate but you can initiate PK on many players.

Wait.. are you trying to say there is no point to playing a healer? healers are one of the most powerful classes in the game, which is why the bloodthirsty healer IS NOT a valid option for RP or play. You can gate to anyone, gate out of pvp to heal and be back before they've made it through 3 areas.. It is probably THE MOST newbie friendly class in the game, with the ability to locate, identify, request, and gate to most mobs to get gear. Very seldom are you allowed to initiate pk, but defending oneself is totally allowed to my knowledge. Plus, healers are totally fun, you get some of the best buff spells(if not the best) in the game, and everyone wants you to tag along for those high level area trips... gear, winter, dischord. I'd say you can't ask for a whole lot more in a class.
It was changed. You can no longer gate to PCs. It was HIGHLY abused and thus changed.
The problem with Healer class? It's no fun to play, so people abuse the crap out of it. They get gimped, then cry about it. But what about those people that were killed/full looted in the meantime? Overall, very negative aspects to stem from one class. For everyone.
Also tel, you dont need a healer for most places these days.
I could solo/duo most of deso/discord and definately all of winter.
Only gear would require more numbers, but not, in any way, specifically a healer.
