I think it would be smurfy if necros could build mounts from body parts... perhaps a necro only quest reward scroll (quest opens up the option to buy it)

Nah, what I mean is, there are like three or four (if not more) suggestions which are worthy and which almost all of the playerbase agrees with (not talking about the LI thread) and there is STILL no immortal response in them.... not even talking about the ton of bugs which need fixing.... the immortals should have what to do in at least the next year... if not more... and you are suggesting something which I don't even know how to describe.
I mean, your suggestion is not a bad idea, but it is not good one as well...actually it is one that would pretty much bring nothing... why bother with it at all?

Usually when people make suggestions, they try to improve the class they are playing, so I kinda thing that you want to suggest something which is not well explained (I kinda doubt the only reason you make this suggestion is so that when someone walks into your room he can be able to see "X is mounted a top of a goat skeleton" or something like that...)

The fact that the staff has not responded is irrelevant. It will be read. It will seep into the subconscious and the odds are in favor of me eventually getting this one through.
And your statement ("I kinda doubt the only reason you make this suggestion is so that") is absolutely right. I don't just want them to see me on a "goat skeleton" when they walk into a room. I want them to see it when I walk in, too.

I think it's a very good idea. Just because something doesn't change the competitive balance of the game does not make it a pointless suggestion. I think this adds cool flavor to a class, and also adds RP opportunity--Mounts provide some cool RP potential, but very few seem to think of them as anything but a way to affect movement drain and regen.
Quick fix.
Alow necros to name one of their golems. The flesh golem.
Then alow them to be mountable.
Then we can all see:
Spiderman, the Necro of Doom, rides in mounted in a male human reproductive organ.
And the ensuing smite from heavens.
Or better, yet since Necros are already quite powerfull on their own, and i do not want them having a 100% time free mount.
Alow them to re-construct one of their animated corpses into a mount. But here is the catch, it must be a human PC animated corpse, none of those chiefients of desolation mobs. That way they gain something RP but lose something PK.
Which reminds me, why the hell are mobs corpses a lot more powerful than PC corpse ? Any necro can get some friends and kill mobs, but to kill for example a Fire Giant warrior PC for its bash, its another story.

My only guess is that mob x always has the same difficulty to kill. PCs (even at 50) have varying difficulty depending on eq, have they just been fighting, etc. Plus there's the possibility that your buddy doesn't like his 50 any more so he lets you kill and animate his corpse when you need him to.
PC should be more powerful, but it seems too easy to abuse.
Back on topic: undead mount spitballing. spell doesn't create mount... it kills present mount, changes its description and extends mount duration 10%.
It's a winer by me.
That and decreasing priced for flying eagle.
Who wants to pay 15000 for a mount ?

It's true. Myrek is one of the fewer forum personalities that has my respect. He was kicking *** when I was still learning the game, forever ago. While his idea may not be any big needed change.. It never hurts to ask.
On PWK. It's not meant for PK. Thats why the minimum damage of a === disint was taken away.
And yet, it is still used, I remember quite a few successful castings against me..
I've got a log of me using it successfully with my necro, at lvl 46 or 48 or some such against a 50.

One of the recurring themes I see being brought up is stale RP. In that vein, I think adding something small that does nothing but add to the RP flavor of a character is a BEAUTIFUL sugestion.
My thought, however, is to reanimate a corpse to be used solely as a mount (no PK ability). In practical effect, it would do nothing more than give you a mount and name it 'A skeleton/ghost/undead/decaying shell/animated carrion/zombie of ' The person would ride in on it, or be seen sitting there. Mayeb make the name random. It adds RP flavor (maybe some necromancers have a certain mob that they will only use as mounts) and a trophy or revenge (ie. you tried to brutalize me, now your undead corpse will serve my slave labor, carrying my weight upon its back until it rots into oblivion. mwahahaha)
I like it.
Any cosmetic change that adds flavor to the game is a very good change and is definitely not a waste of time.
Although, I think that this nightmare thing would be better suited for DKs...
