I saw some cool little side games on a few other muds.
One had a chess game, that was pretty awesome.
Another few had lotteries, and basic luck type games with rewards.
I know on another mud they have people that you can just walk up to and gamble with with a pair of dice, or something, or even flipping a coin. I think it would be cool (although unneccesary) to add something like that to FL.
Yeah, lets all sit around in a pk mud and play checkers.

Side games aee great for non pk muds where all people do is play them and quest, you cant really throw that into a pk mud and have people not complain about wanting a safe room for games, then you would get the abusers who hide in there, ect.

Second time, there IS a lottery kind of game already.
That lotto game is too lame and the risk of death is too high. I say make a powerball and make it payable for 1gold coin for a quick pick/self choice and make it payable up to however much. I'm with Kahlos I'm always broke *** poor.

There is already dicing already. Easily RPed and no graphics to boot. I used to dice with my WM in CC. I wonder how the dice material gets decided... all Ogres get stone or something?

Someone should just roll a character that is to be a bookie and offer odds on PKs or arena battles against wights etc. (Im pretty sure you cant fight on the arena v other characters still). I thought about a bookie character a while ago me being a betting man.
Example:
Who will be first to collect Islildien's bounty?
A Knight: 5:1
A Syndicate: 3:1
A Watcher: 5:1
A Trib: 10:1
A Nexus: 20:1
6: Uncaballed: 4:1
Or something like that.
So if you see someone doing this in game, it's probably me.
Lots of fixed fights will probably happen though.
