New Area Suggestion

here's how you do it:

  1. only condeath chars get graves/tombstones

  2. there will be 20 graves/tombstones, as a new condead char comes into the graveyard queue, the oldest char with his own grave/tombstone will be bumped out.

  3. periodically, set by midnight/moonphase/whatever there will be a secret in a random grave(s)/tombstone(s) leading down. in there will be a standard aggro zombie of the character.

  4. goldbond will be granted lvl 60 IMP and given a lear jet for business purposes.

how's that sound?

1 & 2) I tend to disagree with just because there are characters that stick leave a mark and didnt con die. Perhaps a section that arent automatically bumped out.

  1. I like that, I can see some fun there.

  2. Dont expect those donations from me.

It could easily be its own seperate area with upwards of 100 rooms, 20 graves/tombstones could easily become tons. I'd say give tombstones to characters that had some kind of impact on the game from all, 1.0 forward and all races/classes. A way to be able to get your character placed in there could be in the form of an application via prayer forum or an application IG sent to whoever is building it. If it becomes a random MOB that is aggro and is a ghost instead of a zombie, it should be based off what the character was, not just a plain aggro person. IE: Evil Berserker that was bad *** would be aggro while the Elven Healer might be passive aggressive, meaning he'd end up healing himself and toss up divine retribution all the while knocking your HP away and him barely being touched. None of them would have armor or anything though. As for the last on, hell no.

well I think that each cabal should have grave type thing, like I dont think syndicate or Watcher would be in the cities grave yard.

I would say not make them zombies. Maybe have the body there and then a ghost.

The idea is very interesting and I think it fits into the game. If you make catacombs and have lets say 5 coffins or whatever in each room and lets say you have about 100 rooms give or take of catacombs I think that would suffice for the past, present, and deep into the future.

I kind of like the idea of this for condead characters. Ixnay on the PKills. These aren't publicized for a reason.

Actually I would go so far as to suggest creating a graveyard in each city (or a room in each graveyard, where there are already graveyards or tombs) with the names of all condead citizens from there. Each headstone could have name, title, deity, and cabal or clan title, if any. Or there could be a single monument, much like the war monuments you see in cities, which lists everyone's name on a slab with their title. These could be grouped by cabal, much like they are grouped by regiment in war monuments, or perhaps have a separate slab for each cabal, and one for those unaffiliated.

Remarkable characters are honored in other ways (street names, etc.). On the other hand, they could get tombs, sarcophagi, or larger (or just separate, if you were to go with the single slab for all the condead) headstones in the graveyard.
