Noremove

Thought it would be cool to be able to make items noremove, or nodrop from cabal healers. Sort of like some other blessings where they only last a X amount of days but that way certain things could be opped to be protected by thiefs for some time.

Uhh...have you ever been in a cabal? heh.

I'm pretty sure what you are thinking is not what he is proposing.

Also: I'm against it. It would be too strong to just make any weapon you want noremove with no penatly..

Some weapons just aren't meant to be noremove, if you really want to just ask a necromancer to curse a weapon for you, then kill him to have it back.

The reason some weapons are noremove and some aren't is because of balance issues. There's a reason a lot of the most powerful weapons in the game aren't noremove/socketable.

Killing the necro isnt always nessessary, just the most fun. If you can get a monk together with you, he will know what to do.

Yeah, having a vuln weapon noremove/nodrop would be way nice for you, but not really the person you're fighting. I believe that's why they don't have those in the first place except maybe in very extreme cases where the weapons aren't really that easy to get.

This doesn't even make sense.

I'm not really talking about weapons, and not necessarily no remove, more so no drop. Just so certain items you could protect from thiefs for so many hours. It would def. be expensive. And yes, I don't know if I've ever had a serious character that hasn't been in a cabal.

As much as I hate thieves (and yes, I hate them...a lot), I realize that they're also a part of the game and contribute to the sense of fear in game which is supposed to be. It just keeps you on your toes a little bit more.

Poison yourself going through areas where thieves can hide if you know one is on, or else take shortcuts all together. Stealing from you awake is pretty risky, especially if you are a lag class (and if not, you probably have faerie fire).

.....

I suggest exploring the next cabal you are in more carefully.

Dont know what I am allowed to say about monks. If I am allowed to, I will elaborate. However I wont unless specifically told I am. Otherwise its just going to have to be taken at face value.

We know what you are talking about, you just worded it in the oddest possible way.

It does not works. It never leaves you. Cursed items do not go out of inventory.

Not even with pilfer.

only if they are no uncurse

well, it has been a while since i've actually checked out the different heal abilities

I'm pretty sure this has been said before. If the item is noremove but not nodrop it will drop to the ground, if it is nodrop however, it will just go to your inv.

All your base belong to us.

lol awesome.

This doesn't even make sense.

He's talking about the monkbility to disarm cursed weapons. He only alluded to it despite the fact it's not a secret (as far as I've seen).

EDIT - Huh. Thought I was at the end of the thread.

All your base belong to us.

All your base ARE belong to us.

Come on, get it right man.
