Alright dont say anytihg about ACTUAL interventions.
But ive been talking ot a few people and Ive noticed that EVERYONE chooses the same religion for the evil races. They just say its the most practicle, sure the othesr have RP value, but that one is the one that will make you beast.
Having this said, what about doing up some of the interventions that would make the diversity of clerics a bit more?
A good idea that should've been done a while ago if you ask me, though some should still have just the rp value but religions that deal more with combat should be for combat. I personally only choose one of 2 religions for an evil cleric since I make them as a pk class only, not an rp one. But I hate the fact that both religions aren't ones I'd prefer to follow in.
I actually pick that religion on most of my evils, because it suits my evil RP'ing style. Just so happens to be awesome for clerics.
There is one I heard about that I was going to try, but then I quit playing so I never followed through with it. Thought about doing it again though, it would help immensely in certain situations. Only thing is, I can't remember the religion otherwise I'd do it.
There are other nice divine interventions out there.
In fact some of them are extremely amazing.
But lets not give clues about what divine interventions do.
The devine intervention i think are lacking are the Greed and Faith (The one).
The others are quite potencialy good.
In all my faith cleric i have almost never ever use the Faith Devine intervention, because its almost meanless.
There should be a good divine intervention for each specific religion branch.
Greed is one of the best divine interventions out there, in my opinion.
Yea I have had a greed cleric, and it's good. Especially if you are in a cabal.
The effects that the DI's give really are a reflection of what the religion is I think.
Except for nature maybe, which I don't think really reflects the essence of nature, maybe it should give the cleric camouflage for the duration of the spell
And I don't know what the equilibrium religions do.
Actually I have expiremented with a few clerics just rushed to pinn to find out the DI and have come to the conclusion that all the DIs are relatively useful depending on your personal preferences and pk style. I myself have never played the typical evil cleric religion, I personal prefer combat or death although I do not recomend death til someone gets on the problem of it not exactly working, as both can be very surprising in effectivity.
