Not your average Warrior Suggestion.

for the uncaballed pinnacled giant, there's no pont in pinnacling a giant? unless you're damned good at getting gold.

Getting gold is easy. Go kill the golems in Thalos, grab all the mithril, sell it in Val or Rheydin, and you've got yourself a good chunk of gold. Plenty of other options around as well.

among which are the mahn-tor selling spree's, all of these will become problematic on your align choice and congrued enemies eventually.

i.e. 3000g/15minutes if unmolested at 2am. so many things to do. basically you end up with 75k gold if your character did nothing. 150k if you were a miser. nuetral more.

So plan ahead. Do it like you do training: pre-50. Build up a million gold in your bank account. Hell, in the time it takes you to do that, you can do your training.

i do do that. much more if i'm a locate class. edit: in fact spend sessions at locating gold, esp if on the off hours.

In my eyes warrior >> BLM. Here is why, so far, I've yet to died to a BLM. But I lost two cons in one week to that warmaster leader grudge(sp?) and I was playing a leet druid as well. We all know druids don't go down easy:o . Remember Dervagner and Malabag and all the people that came crying to the forum after they got three rounded?

Why not just join KBS lol or the Syndicate afflilition that is NOW KBS.

I made lots of gold. Lots and lots of gold. Very quickly. By lots I mean over 10 million

Ogre warriro has bash and druid has no prot shield, no wonder you died. Its called command denail.

Blademasters can't bash you to stop you fleeing.

Anyway - the real reason I see double sheath NOT being given to warriors as standard is that its two more rares they can have!!! Doesnt sound like much? It is. Two more pieces of rare gear (saves, weapons, whatever) that a warrior can horde. Its a lot and if you want to do it then take the lore FFS.

You newbs need to go master Meditation of Blades.

Yeah, that's the reasoning I gave for Doublesheath being a powerful lore too. You can hold 4, 5 rares in your inventory (can't remember off-hand)? So, dual wield two rare weapons before you log, you have space for 5 more rares/uniques in your inventory, some of which may be taken with alternate pieces of armor, items, the odd weapon or so. Taking doublesheath gives you the option of holding two more weaponry, meaning you have a much more diverse range of STRONG (rare/unique) weaponry at your disposal, which is key for a Warrior.

I pretty much just parroted what L-A said there but in a roundabout sense I realise, but I absolutely agree.

Dey

At 50 you can quit out with four rare items in your inventory.

At 50 you can quit out with four rare items in your inventory.

Pali knows this, but I'll put it up for all the newbs who haven't mastered Meditation of Blades:

At lvl 50, as a melee you quit with:

4 rares in inv

1 rare each hand

for a total of 6 (usually 6 weapons, or 4 weapons and 2 pieces of saves eq).

Duel wield = 2 more rare weapons, total of 8 rares carried (so 4 weapons and 4 high lvl saves eq). If you know the eq you can make yourself (with a bit of switching) carry -50saves to any catetory at any one time while maintaining hit/dam. I haven't even factored in the items that grant resitances. Think that makes it hard for mages?

For the record, I'm in agreement with everything L-A's been saying.

Who isn't, I mean honestly?

By the way, Evangelion. You named races that do not have easily accessable vulns. You left out Storm and Stone giants.

Both of those have mental vulns.

Both of those have mental vulns.

Which are nearly impossible for half the classes to access. Makes them awesome against melees... which is the point. ^_~

wait... storm doesnt have easy vuln? Maybe im misreading things, but im reading it right, that is very very wrong. They have an easy vuln, that might not be the strongest weapon, but is easy to get.

Unless I'm wrong stormie vuln is VERY hard to hit, it has to do with damage types and weapon materials.

Wood weapons do NOT do a great increase against storms, as the physical resist cancels it out. You're better off just using a stronger magic weapon.
