Outlaw/Wanted change

A random little idea popped in my head today, and I thought I'd share it. I think we should change the outlaw status to still remove your wanted flag on death. I don't think the tribunals should necessarily be hunting these outlaws all over creation and multi-killing them, but rather let them become unwanted when they are caught, and then they are simply not protected by the laws of the cities. Thus even if they are attacked in town, they cannot rightfully attack back. If they are caught comitting a crime, obviously, they would be wanted again.

I think the outlaw flag should only last so long. I mean, it has a duration after all, why not let it end after a real long time?

As I recall, during Martineius' reign, there was a way to petition the Tribunal for just that scenario, but it's not automatic.

Personally, I think there should be a vaster difference between Exile-Outlaw and Outlaw due to breaking laws/getting wanted numerous times. Perhaps the exile version should have a timer on the Outlaw or at least on the Wanted (talking about ~ 10 to 20 real hours here, as to not make the skill a joke).

The simple way to do that would be to split it into two different flags.

Have the [EXILE] flag last for . Then have [OUTLAW] last forever. The [EXILE] flag would end when its timer runs out, or upon capture/execution. But perhaps make it so a character's [EXILE] flag greatly decreases the number of crimes they have left before getting outlawed. Make it be like a next-to-last-chance thing.

Guess what, sporto....

Uh... what?

It already is...sporto.
