Haggle

I know this is minor and probably no one will care but It makes sense to me.

Haggle should work before you actually purchase the item. Its easier to show an example.

How it is now(i think)

If I want item a that costs 100 gold and I have 99 gold. I cant buy it.

haggle should allow you to have a chance to buy the item even though you only have 99 gold.

At a flea market, you dont tell the person tha you have the 100 gold but you want to pay less, you tell them you only have 95 and work from there. I know haggle is something simple no one probably cares about, but it seems fitting to me.

It is a good Idea, I dont know how many time I have been so frustrated at not having 10 gold of the price of some 20000 gold item. Of course you could always go the rout of DK's and just extort it.

Yah, but I then all I'd do is get like 1/2 the money to buy some expensive item, then just keep trying to buy it until it worked.

Well then extort should be changed to have a limit. You either suceed and get it for free or you dont. I dont see a dk going up to a shopkeeper and threatening to get the duck for free, but when he fails, buys the duck at a reduced haggle price anyway. How does that make sense. "well if this sword to your throat doesnt get it for free, how about 10 gold off?"

I can see it working as part of 'browse' Browse item, haggle kicks in, shopkeeper offers a haggle option depending on prof.

I disagree with any change on haggle or extort.

Yes, it completely makes more sense for RP. But the way these both are, there are no balance issues. No abuse issues.

Changing them, creates tons. Why fix something that isn't broken? Yes, more reality is always fun. More complex systems are more fun to play. But it is not worth implementing and testing. I'd rather have other things fixed, or this time spent on RP plots or RPing with just me in general.
