I think that when a berserker is raged and is blinded either from dirt or a spell, that the berserker should be hasted. If you read the help file it says the berserkers hang on a thin thread in battle. When a berserker is blinded they also dont hit as often, so having hasted attacks while blind wouldnt be much of an advantage.
Haste for berserkers....check it out
When a Bersker is blinded, they go into "panic", which I believe is supposed to be some sort of mini-haste plus hit/dam bonuses. Not too sure about the haste bit there, but sure I've heard it mentioned before.

Deykari is right is about the haste thing, Ive found out the hard way that dirting a berserker might be a VERY bad idea!
Or a good idea, they also can't sleep or rest while in panic. Meaning if you need to heal against a zerk just dirt him flee and sleep for a free hour while he just has to stand there.
Aye it sure depends on the situation, but a raged, paniced and berserked zerk can put out some massive damage. I´ve always been kicking dirt with caution when fighting zerks with other melee chars.
Panic is basically haste, with a +hit/dam bonus.
Idea's already in there. Called 'panic' ![]()
Feral Berserkers!
squid berserkers!
squid berserkers!
Dear lord...that'd look like those big brushy things that scrub your car at the car wash.
doublesheath for zerks!
doublesheath for zerks!
That would be huge
Also, when blinded they do not automatically panic. They have to be in combat for a bit.

Having other skills active (I think) helps here.
I actively tried to blind myself to fight mages and communers, but couldn't work out a good reliable way. Rage + panic rocks vs caster/communer with the exception of bmage.
Still, panic (and rage) have their downsides that can be exploited - though very few players seem to try to....

Panic is the bane of any Zerk who wants to work by attrition, 'specially Ogres who miss out on that lovely regeneration.
Dey
Oh yeah. Ogre warrior vs ogre zerk... dirt, flee, sleep, you get 200 hp back, they get 30. Works beautifully.
The zerker could rest and still get some hp back, right? I mean, with regeneration and all?
Panicked zerk cannot rest/sleep.
I thought they just couldn't sleep. My bad, then.
Yeah, it's a killer. With previous Zerks, I have counted my lucky stars on those rare occassions where you are blinded but don't go into panic, when I want a quick tick.
