Sliths

I would like to bring up an idea just to see the response it gets, I do not do this often but I think this one would be pretty cool.

Sliths as it is each alignment has one benificial use to them be ot good or crappy.

Good----Chameleon

Neutral--Eat corpses

Evil-----Second set of eyelids

I propose that instead of making this alignment based perhaps it could be made selectable so that not every good slith has the same blah blah, Make it selectable at like lvl 35. I think this is/would be a great adition to the Slith.

Then everyone would go second eyelids, cuz it pwns. And the plural of slith is slith.

let's put it this way, blue slith blademaster, good slith blademasters pwn already because of the availability of good weapons that pwn for a blademaster anyway, but with blind immunity would be a powerhouse worthy of a blumpkin, still debating if that should be censored or not.

I dont know from my experience with slith they down allways wipe dirt 100%, plus with a skill blademasters allready get dirt only affects running not combat. I personally would chose Chameleon with any slith I took.

I can see that, warriors that can camo, charge, dirt, bash, then backcut rules

Honestly with my slith blademaster I do not have to predict dirt because I am evil and quite frankly I rub the dirt out more often then not. Then again I am evil, now if I was good and could do this I think I would crap my pants at the extra awesome eq I could equip myself with not to mention the better weaponry, although the weapons for an evil are awesome I feel goods especially when your a blademaster have the better pick of the litter.

And thats all Im gonna be saying about that.

i would like something done since neutral's "eat corpse" doesn't seem to do anything except fill your inventory with junk.

Yeah, it's always seemd pretty sucky that the neutrals get shafted like that. Seems more like something they all should get.

I thought the benefit of playing a neutral slith was the lack of a Protection: Neutral spell.

Personally, why not have it random? Perhaps have a 2-out-of-3 (or more, if the IMMs got frisky) choice randomly set on your Slith after rolling. Of course, to prevent people from just rolling until they get what they want, the skills could kick in at rank 15.

Of course, I would rather see 5 options, such as a very, very temporary armor boost (rank based, short duration - scale armor, basically) and a possible claw/bite attack. So, you could roll a Slith and wind up with a bite attack and second eyelids, or scale armor and chameleon, etc.

Yes, but would they be balanced? That is most likely the problem. If they lost the tail trip (like Minotaurs lost the charge perk as Warriors), then I would think it fine.

Word, on both counts. I'd love to see them able to be rangers, but they'd have to lose the autotrip. Maybe stick with straight damage from it if they're rangers. Say, you can't autotrip if you don't have the trip skill at all.

It is easy to logically justify taking away tail trip from the ranger. After all, you wouldn't want to accidentally hit your beloved pets with that tail. Tuck it back.
