Blademaster Stances

I believe this has been brought up before, but after having played Tomas, I really do think blm stances should go up while you fight, not just as you cast it. I mean honestly. I was a halfer blm with a 150ish hours, and I didn't even master Shadowdancer.

Can you spamtrain stances?

I think it's a good idea, but I'm not sure how things work from a coding point of view. I'm under the impression that most blademaster stances are more like spells, and add affects rather than going off in combat.

Well, spam training would be a decent idea I suppose. If you can muster up the patience to sit there, meditate, blah, blah. But if you were going to do that, I'd also make the suggestion that blm guilds restore mana like monk guilds.

no, don't pimp blademasters.

I kinda think blademasters and monks should be a bit easier to train. If they were I think we'd have more people to want to try them out, like me

I think blademasters are hard to train because, once trained appropriately they kick so much ***.... monks, on the other hand...well...thats a tale for a different day

Part of the reason monks and blademasters are hard to train, is when they are trained, and played by someone who knows the class+what they are fighting, they are extremely powerful. Monks have the ability to lag anything at will, given the proper training. I agree training monks and blms is a bit harder, but if you made them easier to train I would say it would just make them less appealing to those who are willing to train their chars to perfection. I would say if any class needs a bit of help it would be warriors, given the state of rares, and a a few inherent disadvantages. Warriors could possibly stand a revamp IMHO.

Warriors just take more equipment to succeed, but they also have a much higher potential than lets say, an evil cleric. You can be pretty good and make some kills pretty easily even in shoddy equipment, while a warrior will struggle. But a decked warrior will go much farther than a decked cleric played by an equally skilled played, in my opinion at least.

I dont think blademasters need anything, aside a couple other stances to that not every blademaster has the same stances, as it is every blademaster at pinnacle has the exact same stances. Now if there were say two or three more it would add a little more diversity to thier class as with warriors warrior lore. there would be that possability to do something different every time you make one. If there was one class that really needed a little something it is what is allready is being taken care of by the imms.
