Young thieves

Problem is this.

You are attacked/attack someone. It is part of STRATEGY often to flee, hide, sleep...and attack again. Then some lvl 11 ninja starts feeding this pinned guy this information on where you are. He follows you around, telling him room names so he can find you time and time again. You are unable to get any health until eventually you either get caught or run out of mv.

And yes, it does affect the fight. It is stealth which is the strongest tool of a thief/ninja. A thief/ninja will NOT beat a good zerker in all out fight. However, by attacking him time and time again, poisoning...sleeping and returning, you can take them down. Someone telling them where you are DESTROYS that strategy and CAUSES you to DIE.

Now, if this were to happen RL I would find the guy feeding him directions and KILL him, but oh, wait, they are like rank 11, so I can't do ****! And, oh, most chars at that rank NEVER make it to pinn, so I will NEVER be able to do **** to them. Not to mention, if they feel threatened...delete;delete and roll again! they are at rank 11!

It is abuse of the pk range because they are aiding someone to KILL someone else without having ANY risk to themself. They are USING and ABUSING the fact that the other person can't Kick their *** to change the outcome of a fight.

And, Chayesh, if you don't think the other guy being able to find you changes the outcome of a fight...I suggest you roll a few more thieves/ninjas...because it -definitely- does.

Maybe sitting around hiding in a place a rank 11 can find you is a bad idea?

Fair PK doesn't always mean perfect PK. What I mean is that just because you get caught with your pants down because you "thought" you were safe doesn't mean anyone abused anything. You got outthought. And you made the mistake of incorrectly assuming they couldn't find you and that you were safe.

Again, let's all not become so thinly skinned in our PK to where everything is a planned duel and not like a "real" life where outside variable change the landscape drastically.

I'm sorry, but I really do not share your viewpoint on this at all. Nowhere on Aabahran is completely safe. This is why we don't have a NO-PK area.

I actually take advantage of the hints some lowbies throw at me. IC it is perfectly reasonable to be given some information. The only immoral thing is asking a lowbie thief/ninja where someone is. If a lowbie tells me where a thief who just blackjacked, backstabbed, got his butt kicked, fled, and is probably healing, is I am going to say thanks to the lowbie and cheer-io to the Thief. No skin off my back.

What about this, you're level 30 something and you're fighting a mob to get something from him (wielding a reasonably hard to get weapon at your level) A level 15 guy walks in and sits there. Then you get disarmed and this level 15 guys picks up your weapon and runs off. Is this allowed?

Now I know why there aint much of bounties put on low level people: guys don't realize to throw 'em out.

10k to lv11 isn't much of money for lv50, but it may screw the lv11's game a big time one day, when someone decides to collect him. And when you get note from Hermes, you can only grin widely.

I doubt I need to say more.

You just might trigger TDP Syndrome with that as well.

It's crappy but not illegal.

Just another name for "The List" in my opinion...

EDIT: To clarify, IN PK, this is totally illegal. But not against a mob.
