Warrior Lore Polearm => Pugil Polearms

So I would like to give this new idea about a new warrior lore.

Although many play warriors, everyone knows no one chooses Polearm mastery or the polearm related warrior lore, because well, everyone thinks it sucks.

So, and idea to make the Polearm lore interesting would be to have Polearm lore be Polearm pugil.

It doesn't even have to be like staff pugil and give max number of attacks minus 1 as extra attacks. It could just be like max -2. Which would mean a polearm master/lore warrior could do up to 6 attacks with his weapon. This would offset why no warrior ever uses polearms, the loss of a lot of attacks. And since Polearms are the best weapon on game it makes sense to not be as powerful as staff pugil.

We could also extend the skill and allow them to pugil any 2h weapon whose proficiency is 105% when not dual wielding (with this new lore). This because I think medium sized warriors pugiling Swords/Spears would be interesting.

If we even wanted to turn this more interesting, we could link the max number of attacks of this new pugil to DEX.

10+ dex, +2 attacks.  (Giants)

20+ dex, +3 attacks.  (humans, slith, H-elf)

23+ dex full extra 4 attacks. (Elves/dow, halfling)

Someone also suggested, making a warrior lore of Swing for axes.

No more damn pugil.

You can already be a super tank with super offense.

We need to stop amping the offensive power of what should be defensive builds.

Polearm > Mounted Charge

Axe > Rend = Damages opponent's weapon/shield/armor at a random chance

Trick has a good idea. For both. I'm down to see some flavor for the warriors, though it's understandable to feel hesitation to give the melee staple class of warrior something that might bring them more power.

Power grip was maybe built for FL years ago when getting cursed weapons we're very difficult. My 2c

You see Mya often complaining about how stronk warriors are compared to mages.

Then she suggests warriors to be able to pugil with a polearm.

Then you wonder wtf?

PS. By the way, some time ago Bladermasters were able to pugil with a polearm (to an extend - 5 attacks max iirc). It was deemed too OP and removed.

I suggested pugil with a greater penalty.

Staff Pugil grants up to +3 attacks.

I suggested up to +2 attacks.

If it's to big, it could be only +1 attack.

Off topic anyone remember when pugil was first emplemented? I want that again.
