For the racial skills they get combined with great stats and one vuln (a vunl that is just as exploitable as fire giants, avian, drow, undead), it seems a bit unfair to have only a 100 exp penalty.
When you compare other classes' combination of stats/skills, ferals get a severe upperhand.
Just to compare some other races
Elf/Drow - 500 exp pen, great INT/DEX, no aging effects, can sneak.
Illithid - 500 exp pen, one useless racial skill (leech) and one that rarely works (cone of force), great INT/WIS, no aging effects
Avian - 350 exp pen, good DEX, can fly, vuln to air weapons (seems like a high penalty for a perk that also causes their vuln)
...Feral - 100 exp pen, great DEX, no stat below 18, can royally screw over any mage class with one racial skill and can royally screw over any hide class with another skill and (so i'm told) get an extra attack?. A vuln that is easily exploited but no more than any other racial vuln IMO.
I think their penalty should be raised to at least 200 but 250 is optimal I believe.

NO! Ferals are not as great as one would think, so there is no need for a penalty raise.
I strongly disagree. Their vuln is insanely more exploitable then the ones you cite, save perhaps fire giants, who also have many bonuses and a comparable exp cost. Drow vuln can only be hit by thrown things, and I've never seen anyone hit the avian vuln. I'm sure it's done, but it's not common at all.
Exactly. leave them as they are, cuz if it ain't broken, you shouldn't try to fix it.
I really have no arguement of my own on this matter, ferals are fine. I'm really just posting to say hey to another one fron New England. Rep it well.
Go up against a fire giant berserker devestation wielding 2 fire weapons and tell me that Ferals vuln isn't easily exploited 
Give me a Watcher Feral Ranger, and you've got yourself a deal.
It really is all about how you set up your character, whether their vuln is going to be easy to exploit or not.
Feral vuln is only matched really by Fire Giant or Ogre, both of which have the hp to make up for it. Ferals in exchange get thier stuff. Its balanced just fine.

I kind of agree. With actually a lot of automasteries (parry, dodge, dual parry) and only one real vuln, they could use a +100 exp penalty, IMHO.
With thier relativly low strength (compared to most melee races) and moderate int/wis/con, I think they are just fine.
They already have a +100, unless you mean 100 more. And automastery of defenses is practically useless as they are so easy to master anyway, not to mention in some cases you don't want them automastered, i.e. a feral warrior.
Advantage of automastery is they can go over 100%.
For feral, it's easy to get dodge to 107%.
hmmm must have had an item, automastery only gives 3% more and with items skills can top out at 110%
no agreeing! either do nothing to ferals, or improve/change them so they're better, or the same with different abilities!
There's nothing wrong with ferals.
As mentioned, a year ago all people did was talk about how they sucked and no one should play them. Now, they are exactly the same and called overpowered.
Now you see why, despite the random spurts of frustration, I find this job highly entertaining. You can't buy comedy like that.
