So is Agnosticism and Atheism. :clapping:

Difference being nobody answers your prayers with them.

I answer. But whether you would really want me to if you knew how.... that's another matter entirely.

I feel like the game needs attainable goals that lead to resets. Like if Nexus truly dominates the land, Aabahran is lost. If the Knights crown a true king that's it, they won. Watcher's can reclaim the cities, Savant can master the timestream, Syndicate has collapsed the empire, Tribunal has united the land, and ended lawlessness. Herald's have killed everyone that cant read. These would give meaning to character lives. As it stands now you can just log off and avoid people until they quit if you want to. There is no true long term effects on the game. Now if the consequences of a character running are they lose, their life is lost, and their cause broken, they are gonna be more motivated to fight. I get that people put alot of time into their characters, but the truth is Aabahran is a violent place, and each faction has a goal to be the ruling party. People will lose.

I like this a lot, but does it cut down on the freedom of RP a bit?

Man, I love when I bring up something and everyone ***** on it, then like 2-3 months later its all everyone is talking about.  At least this time you revived my thread instead of just making a new one lol.

Have you all finally arrived at the same conclusion as me?  I mean I've done it all at 50, 50 times in a month even lol (say that 5 times fast lol)

Are you bitter because someone agreed with you after you gave a suggestion, and  lol

I am an asshole.  I do asshole things.  Like poop on you.

I would like to see raids be purchasable via RP.

Not to be confused, I do not mean purchasing the skill to send raids, I mean spend a small amount of RP to send ONE raid.

But I like balance, so I would also like to see a purchasable NPC hero, that could be "called" to defend against a raid for a small amount of RP.

Watcher/Syndicate should be able to send raids vs any location, regardless of being at war.

A Syndicate decides to send a raid to the Halfling Hamlet JUST to dig at Danpher.

Watcher raids Miruvhor because Cervall was the Emperor and now Irant, a demon, is.

Battle Challenge: A new type of warfare

What if when two cabals who have enough presence in the lands (two or more characters logged in from each), one cabal could issue a battle challenge. As the characters begin to fight all across Aabahran instead of facing death the characters that fall are placed in POW camps. Once in a camp, unless broken free by an ally they are out of the competition. This would remove the negatives such as equipment loss/con loss to keep people from logging out instead of accepting the challenges. In addition to a 2RP bonus for individual victories, all members on the winning team would receive 5 additional RP, members of the losing team receive only 2 RP. This is in addition to a large CP bonus to the winning team.

Continued challenges from a certain faction against your own might even result in RP reasons to escalate the Battle Challenges into full scale cabal wars.

Just a nagging thought I hope goes away now that its shared.
