ummmm yes I have. Allow casters to get a pet, from their guild, that wails on mobs. or At LEAST dirt's and lands 2 to 3 attacks a round. Make it abandon them at 30.
@egreir suggested increasing their xp.
then you all came in with the "oh yeah its ez" attitude.
no alsatian, how the hell would you know to get it?
No guild quests, your new, you dont know the areas.
Now tell me how fun that is.
Okay, what's your solution then?
Add a mob that tells you where to get them? I'm not against a change, in fact I'm FOR it, but what's the SOLUTION.
" Make it faster. " Isn't a solution. What that is going to do is put them in PK range and at higher level when things are more difficult without increasing their knowledge of how the game works. Level is not synonymous to knowledge.
A total fresh noob with no quests and no pets and no decent armor will get rekt by this game on ANY class they choose. Not just as a CCR
And egreir I have done it before. If you really don't believe me I guess I can find some time on the weekend to prove what I am saying. As long as the imms don't care if I roll something disposable with a 2 line description.
What I agree with in this thread is that we need an overhauled mud school. I think it is a very good idea to get a room explaining pets and the golem scroll there.
