Wimpy rounds

What sort of bad habits? I've personally never used it because it takes away my control to leave battle when I wish. I have never looked at it as a big deal because someone used it when I was trying to player kill them.

Honestly I would side with the just learn to run them down club.

Wimpy does have its uses too.  Even for elite players.

Primary use for wimpy for me was always just getting mobs to stop chasing you. Never really used it in PK except in very particular cases, but I can see the advantage.

I also think it should just fire at the end of the round, rather than after damage. In the case of murder, have it fire after that first round of attacks, avoiding the double round.

Although the thing that really bothers me in the xxx jumps in front of yyy! And you don't attempt to hit them instead? Your attacks just disappear...

Wimpy is stupid and broken. Anyone defending it is either ignorant of its broken state or abuses it regularly.

I don't care either way.  I've died more often to wimpy than it has saved me.  But to play the devil's advocate, why take the best of both worlds and put a cap on it.  25-50% of total health.  OR something similar?

It is.

Shows you how often I use it.  :sorry:

In my case it's extremely frustrating to try to finish a communer or to a lesser degree a mage, with a two round lag skill when they can flee almost immediately to heal up while I'm trying to recover from lag and chasing to find out where they went. It makes them even more impossible to kill for some classes. Same grip with a certain vampire form I have.

These communers already have either effective one round skills or have spells where wimpy doesn't play as huge a role. So when a melee has a mage on the run they have a huge chance of getting away. But when its the other way around the melee most likely will not be getting away. I always thought word of recall was op when I played a class that can use it. I'm so happy the lag was increased from using it. Now if this wimpy change is made I bet it'll help even average skilled Warmasters actually finish some of these Savants.

Additional scenarios I use it in;

Is when I'm playing a class that doesn't have protective shield to further help avoid getting bashlocked near death.

And as someone else said I also use it to stop big mobs from chasing me.

I love using it when my invoker is near death and the round gets cut off from wimpy and I get a free Hellstream in lol.
