How about we open up harvesting trees to archery rangers, and give them the ability to create their unique bows, just like bards do with their instruments? The archery path seems to be lacking a lot since the introduced changes to warriors, zerkers and the arrow scroll. I've got a pretty good idea of the skills and weapons, so if you're up for it PM me, Morle. I don't think it would need much coding to be done, but I don't know that really, cause I know nothing about coding.
Archery
Archery is NOT lacking in any way. Yes, classes do have ways to defend against it, but if I recall correctly the scroll won't block all arrows and the shield lore won't deflect all arrows if the shooter is an archer path ranger.
Dont give me a reason to make another ranger haha.
Does anyone know the percentage rate that the arrows can be stopped? I'm not willing to say it's broken but I honestly can't agree with their being a scroll or skill that can heavily block a class's entire selection in their tree. Is there a scroll that makes warrior lores not work half the time, crusader skills or the new necromancer trees? Not that I'm aware of, so I'm curious now...would it be broken to allow archery rangers to completely bypass this all and I'd their arrow hits it would depend in skill, accuracy and defense instead? Sure shield warriors loose a benefit but they still have others while now the archery ranger looses the ability to depend on his specialization.
Maybe I think this because I went halfling archery, without 100% dependency the arrows I lost a good portion of my damage.
They used to not be blocked at all, by anything. I can tell you first hand from being a player that played archers very heavily and very successfully that they can be ridiculously strong. I've gone entire fights without ever being in a round of combat and winning. Not a single round. That should not happen against 100% of the combos in the game.

Remember being stuck in the water with your Knight E or L and you didn't have a boat for some reason? And I sat one room across and killed you arrows? lol i'm amazed we still talk to this day :P:P:P

But while you say that a ranger loses his entire specilization so does the shield warrior if you take away the shield lore ability to block arrows. thats his Level 50 ability thats the ultimate thing that he learns as a shield warrior. So yes he should beable to block the hell outta arrows. and tbh no one should be complaining about shieldwarriors anything since they've recieved nothing but nerfs for so long now. Scroll thing I competely agree with I hate the consumables of this game and how it has changed the way the game is played. SO i half agree with you, scrolls shouldnt exsist really but i think warriors who actually go the shield route should have some defense against them.
Well, since Ghregory can't be killed anymore its WAY harder to stack those scrolls. I believe they only last for 7 hours so if you notice they aren't landing, just run away and force them to waste another.

Sorry if I was wrong there, if I am it's completely due to ignorance since the only knowledge I have of shield lore warriors is pk logs and duels I've been in. Wouldn't they still be able to shield bash and get all the other affects that they have when facing any other class in the game?
They do but minus the scrolls don't archers get to shoot from a million(an exageration) rooms away from every other class? not every spec is going to get used against every class just like a shield warrior doesn't choose to wear a shield vs alot of classes and archery is infinitely used against more classes than shield lore. Shield lore doesn't get 3rd or 4th attack, they lose fired weapons and a ranger gets 2 pets plus all their attacks. I really don't think that archery needs a change vs shield warriors at all. SHield lore is so gimped right now it would be just another nail in the coffin. Again I agree with scrolls because quite frankely we have way to many consumables but yea. sorry I don't buy gimping shield warriors any more vs something that is arguably insanely useful and dangerous to so many classes.
