I had brought up a few times awhile ago in the prayer forums about Clan Quests and Guild Quests. My complaint at the time was that whenever you do a guild quest, if a clan quest then pops up it would take priority over, essentially deleting, the old quest. My prayers were answered by the staff and now if a clan quest pops up whilst you have a Guild Quest, it will not eventuate into a doable quest, but will also not overwrite your current.
Without being a pain in the ass after getting essentially what I asked for, is there something inherently wrong (or difficult to code) with allowing both quests to be doable? I don't see why you can't have two pending errands at once, RP wise.
On top of this idea, while expanding quests, make shop quests. Why not give characters invisible questing points that will allow you to get discounts at shops you do favors for. Same quest formula as gold/XP quests from guildmasters but earns you different benefits. So if you find yourself using the Maelbrim herbalist quite a lot, you can do quests for him and gain favor so he gives you discounts on goods. Just an idea that would make downtime a little more industrious!
edit: And for goodness sake can we go somewhere besides canyon and Waterfall!
