RP points for quest count

In my opinion, interacting with the game world in PVE style through IG quests is a type of roleplay. Therefore, my suggestion is to award one RP point to all characters per quest retro-actively, and to add RP rewards to existing in-game quests as time permits. Smaller RP perks could be gained this way as well. Thoughts? Issues? Thanks for your consideration.

Example 1:

Character X has 27 quests, and receives 27 RP points. A simple command could be used to trade quest count for RP points so the IMMS do not have to do it manually for each character.

Example 2:

You have helped Farmer Mahn-Farm with his crops!

You receive a carrot and 3 RP points.

You have gained the perk: Green thumb.

I don't like the idea. RP points are already easy enough to obtain. And what you describe is not really RP.

Are you sure?  You don't think doing a quest is roleplaying?

How many logs of people doing quests do we have in the RP section of the forum Mali?

Saying "doing quests" = RP, is like saying that hunting = PK.

What do you feel about the second part - discoverable perks.

I didn't understand the second part well enough to comment. Elaborate perhaps?

Future quests may have rp rewards, but only rarely and only for big quests. Perks are similar, and we're currently discussing a sort of high-tier reward that's similar and an alternative to always giving items.

Actually I have a spin on this after some thought that I will post up later in a distinct thread.
