My final 2 cents on the idea.

Let's not forget that stealing isn't just about stealing, it's also a much needed pk skill for that class that it's always had. Over the years it's apparent that consumables have become a staple in most people's inventory to the point that consumables are all that's in their sacks, their char would be pk devastated if someone could just scoop them all in one move.

Using a cursed/nodrop weapon is 'normal' because you will lose what your weilding otherwise, the same care and attention should be paid to your sack if you carry things you don't want to lose.

Back in the day it was also 'normal' to have your sack stolen on a regular basis because thieves were everywhere, now when one pops up and steals a sack sh!t hits the fan because nobody is used to being stolen from anymore.

The idea of of a perk being able to judge sack weight would probably cause more people to lose sacks, I'll agree. But like I said if you care enough about your weapon to use a cursed one you should care enough about the contents of your sack to use a cursed one as well

If you're thinking Eagle Eye, it's something that's not said on the Character Perks page of the wiki as nothing on that page says anything about being harder to steal from.  But you're right about no hellstream perks.  Saves might have something to do with you being able to resist crumble.  Not completely sure on that.  Please take with a grain of salt.

 

As for the rest:

Eagle Eye: 10% chance to sense motion on walk in messages, +2 scan range, +3-5 scout range, can always detect traps, +2 base hitroll, +1 archery range

Stout : 50% less lag damage dealt to you...

Nimble: 5% less chance to be hit by bash/bodyslam/blackjack/strangle/throw...

Short: 25% less trip lag and trample lag...

If you have any suggestions for edges you're more than welcome to post them. They're certainly lacking and I wouldn't mind more 25-50rp edges that give a competitive edge.

I have two:

 

    • Veteran Combatant , Veteran of a thousand battles. I have seen horrors that would shake a man to his soul.

A fear resistant edge, that would Improved savings vs fear.

 

    • Iron Mind , My mind is my stronghold. You can try to break my focus, but I will not  be distracted.

Would mind_disrupt effect to max of 2030 at concentration check. Fury and other concentration loss related skills.

Perhaps make it a +20% to concentration, at concentration check after mind_disrupt check. My intention is to reduce 50% cast fail rates to 33% (from 1 out of 2 to 1 out of 3 fail to cast), having an impact but still not making the skills worthless.

Love the suggestion Morlhach, can we get a sticky thread for posting our edge suggestions? So Mya's and following suggestions are not lost within this thread.
