THAC0, it's a rogue class (-4 ish) vs a warrior class (-10 ish).  Hit/dam is a straight modifier, so you'll obviously need more from a rogue than a warrior against the same AC.

The level of the Blackwatch sword was raised to L40.  Still fairly easy to enchant.  Yes, it lost the nodrop flag and the bless flag.

Speaking of bless, get either the Blackwatch sword or the fauchard (1h spear) from Miruvhor and bless them at your cabal.  Should be 200cp for the former, 150 for the latter.  Do that to like 10 of them.  Stick then in a quiver for if they're disarmed.

It's not for when you are fighting. Else he could just re-poison you. It's for when you eat that teleport pill and are stuck far away with the poison.

Sure, L15 sucks, but a 5% chance on a quiver with 50 pills its a good gamble.

I feel you on the blindness level. I wish you could never go over L50 blind affects. It's very crippling.

I we had a rare pill of L70 blind I would be carrying that in all my chars.

Just slow yourself - Lotus wut?!  For reals though there's a rare stave in Flying Citadel if you can use staves.  I know Thelmayn can not but FYI.

Thelmayn has a serious set on him though. Being unafraid of combat might lose you some lives and equipment, but it definitely gets you some respect.

That kind of PK and attitude towards PK needs to be and usually IS rewarded by the Staff in some manner. If you’re gonna go out and get some, I say it’s promotion, RP point, title, or item worthy.

I think with your determination you have a lot going on. Against Gordy you can switch out some of your gear for +STR and smoke the giant strength herb (forget which one it is). Also definitely try and stock up on nymph hearts. I think its a little tough for you given your playtimes, but do what you can. Maybe ask another goodie to help provide you some. Also, if you are gonna be logged in for awhile, I would definitely go for the Tuo scroll.

I think Mya's suggestion of the carpenter's hammer is a good idea. Unfortunately for you there are quite a few undead, etc. running around, so you have all of the enemies to fight and they are hungry for a sader to kill. Glad to see you aren't giving up though. Big Kudos to you!
