chaosbane has the same damage noun but you get different weapon types, your average varies greatly before you hit E, even with the skill mastered (you can get like average 24)
chaosweapon will always get you average 31 if mastered, and varies in 4 damage types, but you can only choose the type at E. You can also dual wield them if they are the right type for that.

Ogre vs fg. This fight was purely unblinded. Exotic/whip vs staff. It appears that the fire giant got out damaged but this is false due to the significant HP difference.
Yes the ogre kept up with the damage for this reason....his dex is three points higher. Dex plays a huge role in defenses. If both parties were to have been dirted, the damage would significantly have favored the fg. Couple that with a fire weapon and fg wins this bout hands down.

It's not about moons aligning to win. I was merely pointing out why you felt out damaged. A few small changes make this particular fight a landslide. Your damage output could have been boosted by at least fifty percent with magic arrows and a fire weapon. The main reason to play fgs is to use fire weapons. If I'm not mistaken there are even fire based arrows you could buy. Don't take this as negativeness, I'm just trying to help you win.
I think his point isnt to ne negative but to highlight the fact he had samc, foe didnt, foe still beat him. How much more than a 50% damage advantage should you need?
Ogre had protection. Fg was using a low avg damage staff, ogre was using high avg dam weapons. Any chaos staff would have been better than cane. Couple that with magic arrows and the ogre would have been the one fleeing.

Ive been the "ashuga". I think hes kicking ass. I see it as a challenge. Made runs at him, am working on a strat etc etc. He probably knows who i am even lol.
Just pointing out the challengers viewpoint is all. Your observations chesta are spot on imo.
Agreed. It's always a challenge to beat a good pker with a very strong combo at their peak, just saying you have to do everything you can to gain any edge. Coming at a decked avatar with a bone cane shooting mundane won't win the fight alone sanced or unsanced.
