Locked Bardic disguise person.

I think that we should a disguise person skill. Unsimilar to the disguise skill that only disguises you guild title. This one would allow you to disguise as a single person.

You would appear on where as that person, and in room with that person name, but not with that person equipment.

And every time you speak, a check would happen (similar to ventriloquism)  to denounce you, ending the effect. Perhaps skill based, with 10% chance to flail.

Entering combat would also break the effect.

Bards would have access to this skill.

Heralds would have access to this skill.

Bards in Herald would have access to this skill at 1% fail rate.

Can only disguise as a creature of the same size, (for realism). Perhaps enlarge would aid with this.

Example of skill check:

chance = 3 * disguise_skill / 4  (75% at mastery)

chance = chance +  INT_STAT - 19  (Elf +6, Dwarf -1)

chance = chance +  Luck_STAT - 16 (MAx luck easy for bards, + 9)

If player is bard and player is Herald then chance = 100

roll = roll_dice from 1 to 100.

If roll > chance Player fails, and the say comes out with the original players name.

This means a elf gets 75+9+6 = 95% chance to succeed. 1/20 chance to flail.

A dwarf gets a 89% chance to succeed. 1/10 chance to fail.

It would be an every interesting skill. Allowing you to infiltrate some closed doors meetings. Or ask persons questions they would otherwise not answer you.

Easy to detect if you look at the equipment. Or if he speak a lot.

ALTERNATIVE SKILL:

Disguise Cabal/Clan.

Would allow a Bard to disguise as a certain clan. Allowing him to pass the clan guard.

It would also allow him to listen to that clan chat.

Herald version.

Would allow a Herald to disguise as a certain CABAL. Allowing him to pass the CABAL and clan guard.

It would also allow him to listen to that CABAL and clan chat.

Mya, no. Reason: this exists already. No further discussion please.
