I would be interested to see a change in the way mobs act and react when it comes to certain skills. For instance, I see a bash and trip followed in the next round. Coinciding they also do not suffer from command lag when tripped or another lag skills. Thoughts?
MOB Skills
Oh, how about a dispel and and a trip from the wight?
Or a disarm and a bash from the chimera? All in the same round.
I really don't understand where is the logic of 2 skills in the same round?
Why?
Mobs, like Immortals, are not subject to lag from their skills/spells.
Not entirely sure why that's still that way.
Conversely they're not subject to being lagged, true.
Not sure how Mol could alleviate this, nor would I be sure if I'd want him to. Sure, lagging mobs would be great, but at the same time, it would make some mobs cake (easier at least) with a couple melee's.
I'd be more for adding skill lag from the mobs rather than mobs be lagged by player skills.
shivers
I remember Virigoth's response to the way mobs react and their skills. He threatened to code the mobs with the chasing ability of some of the top PKers. ![]()
Mobs aren't akin to WAIT_STATE like players because it uses CPU. If I add them into a buffer like players, things would lag - bad.
Really no easy way to do this.
Oh, well that puts things into another perspective then.
