Idea: Neutral Qrace - Draconians.

So here I was taking a bath, thinking and fleshing out my idea on summoners when I got this great idea for Neutral Qrace. And one that is very easy to code.

We been lacking a Neutral Qrace for ages. Not that it bother me much, because I play very few neutrals. But many players do and have been requesting one for years.

Draconian's.

Requirements:

L15-30

Human, neutral, open to all classes except druids.

Must RP as a cloaked human, hiding his identity until such a time as Qrace is accepted and the character race can be revealed.

Stats: 20 20 20 20 20 +1 to appropriate stat from human class.

Example warrior get +1 to STR, Invoker get +1 to Int.

Resistant : weapon

Vulnerable: pierce (resist + vuln means you get normal damage from pierce)

Skills:

**Flight **

At command player can "Flight" and be granted:

  • Auto-flight

  • Air Vulnerability

  • Bash/Bodyslam evasion bonus equals to Avians/Faeries.

Using the command will turn the bonus and vulnerabilities off.

Scales (Selection).

The player can select from the following scales colour:

Fiery Red

Ice Blue

Electric/Metallic blue

Earthly brown

Forest Green

Water marine blue

Golden (non selectable, imm only)

Black (non selectable, imm only)

Breath

By using this skill, the player will take a 2 round delay and breath an attack related to his scales colour.

Cool down - 0 hours. (once per tic)

Scales effects:

Fiery Red

Add Resistant : Fire

Breath: Fire breath, which can cause flame blind.

Ice Blue

Add Resistant : Ice

Breath: Ice breath, which will cause irresistible STR drop akin to "chill".

-2 per cast, max of -6 STR, 6 hours max duration.

Electric/Metallic blue

Add Resistant : Lightning

Breath: Lightning breath, which will cause +33% damage to AC below -300 AC.

Earthly brown

Add Resistant : Pierce (turn the player resistant to all non magical damage akin to a giant)

Bonus: SIZE +1 (Giant)

Breath: This massive draconian does not breaths, he roars and stamps his feet on the ground. This deals low area physical damage to all in room. Non flying targets get lagged for one round, ignores protective shield.

Forest Green

Add Resistant : Disease

Breath: Poison breath, which will cause a chance to poison.

Water marine blue

Add Resistant : Water

Breath: Water breath, if used on water rooms it will have a chance to push your target into another room. If target is pushed, it is laged for 2 rounds, the same as the player.

Golden (non selectable, imm only)

Add Resistant : Negative, Disease

Breath: Holy breath, which will cause a small chance to curse.

Black (non selectable, imm only)

Add Resistant : Holy, Light.

Breath: Black breath, negative damage which will have higher damage and chance to high level plague.

RP introduction:

Draconians are an ancient race, that lives near the dragon tower.

Some believe that they are the spawn of humans with dragons, but most experts put that notion away as rumor. Still there is little doubt that such as dragon, draconian's represent a strong force of nature.

They are usually found near their larger cousins, acting as guards, caretakers, servants and at times food.

It is not uncommon for a young draconian to rebel into this life of servitude and runway. This draconian suffering the rigors of puberty will most often hide his identity both to avoid recognition by his peers as much as to draw attention to his person in crowded places.

Once age and wisdom sets in, the draconian scales grow and reveal his brilliant colours. Some experts have observed many different colour. From the aggressive fire red draconians and the massive and bloated dirt browns to the bath loving watery blue ones.

There is ancient lore referring to the existence of aberrant scaled draconians, some describe good natured gold scaled creatures, while others speak of murderous black beast that crave blood and pain.

certain combos would be op though. Take an earthly brown invoker for instance.

Could not be Fiery red Feral as she stated human race only.

A human int Invoker. 21 INT gives you what? 900 mana....

Still Qrace. Some would be very powerfull, some give interesting tricks.

Aka undead thieves or monks.

For example brown Warrior is a giant warrior minos the Mental vuln and area attack vs thieves. Also lower Hit/dam.

Water blue devastation zerk, that can "push" enemies to relax when losing.

Ice blue ninja going ninja on STR.

Forest green zerk. A zerk that can poison opponent. Goodbye Ogres attrition.

Good things neutrals can't be communers, else they would be insane attrition.

Water blue Battlemage. Die pesky Dwarf.

PS: Working on Dragon? Now that is nice.

I near gave that up in my post as I remember it being worked on before I left but decided against it as it is not my place anymore and unsure how secret it was supposed to be hehe.

But, this will still take quite some time, so do not get too excited.
