Pk cooldown timer

I have been kicking around the idea of a pk cooldown timer. My idea of it would work as follows:

I somehow am engaged in a battle with another PC. We both now have a timer effect on us that prevents us from both engaging, and being engaged by other PC's for a certain amount of time, maybe eight hours?

Any thoughts?

Cabal warfare in a 1v2 turns into person A engages and then runs, while person B now has a free run at the enemy cabal guard for the next 8 ticks.

That's just the first problem that popped into my mind. My main problem with it is that I can remember tons of times I've had loads of fun essentially bouncing from one PK fight to the next, and I'd rather not deprive people of that, even though it leaves open the other end on the fun scale of being ganged. Can't have free speech without letting idiots talk - can't have crazy huge battles without unfair ones.

Haha.. no thanks.

And not because I enjoy tag team, but because honestly, this is Aabahran. If a tag happens, or a gang happens, it happens. No need to incorporate a hard code to make Aabahran into honorville.

Dislike. I really enjoy blackjacking multiple people at the same time, or showing one opponent mercy, only to have his cabal friend come in and attack me, only to be shown mercy in the same exact room, and then kill them both. Aabrahan is all about fighting, RP, and stayin alive. If you can't kick it at the top, maybe it's time to make a cleric, or a healer even, and practice running/chasing/hiding. Heck, make a thief/ninja even, and if you don't like the way things are going, just hide. But as for limiting the amount of people I can attack, or can attack me? No way. Not once, not nevah.

IKFL

Don't like.

That would really ruin the atmosphere of FL.
