Dragon Sea

I propose the Dragon Sea connects from Miruhvor to west of Val Miran. Either through traveling east from Miruhvor...or through some sort of ferry/boat system. What do you guys think?

+1.

That would make a very small planet we live on. I propose make more areas that spread farther out!

I dont think so... Our mud is already huge... Why do we want our tiny player base spread out even further?

Yea well I didn't like your idea either.

I didnt add one?

I didnt add one?

Exactly.

I think it's a bad idea. And only feaseable if connects through a nightmare area like old Shandor, with lots of Agro. Or like the Steel gauntlets.

More important would be a pass from south mirhuvor to east miruhvor and a pass from north mirhuvor to north of the forsaken lands.

And a way around Val Miran that did not take people inside the city.

Like a Falen Dara east gate connection to the Chasm or to the Mountain trail (elfs and orcs) through a cavern.

Of course this should heavy move eating areas with some rooms eating 10 moves. No point just adding 20 2 moves room when we can add just 4 10 moves rooms.

I disagree with this idea, but I feel that the eridani river should be more than a long lake (from south-west of val to south-east? Thats not a river). I propose that it extends to the far west of val (You know, INTO the sea) and runs either southward towards Khorandain, or even farther east creeping into the blasted plains area spilling finally into werebeast city .

I have had some time to think up zones and would love to submit some .are files if Im allowed.

If you'd like to build, just submit to the prayer forum your idea outline, which stock area it would replace (keeping in mind its original purpose, general RP, and level/eq balance), and a sample set of GOOD room/mob descs. English writing skills and progging are big pluses. Basic building is easily taught, so that isn't necessary. Being a thorough, decent writer and having the time to finish your area are more important.

As for geography, I personally see Aabahran as an isolated part of a world in the far south. South approaches tundra latitudes and the north is cold due to elevation. West and east past the oceans isn't well documented, giving some ambiguity for players to sandbox with. It also makes sense in that Miruvhor is a port city and must be dealing with somebody.

I've always looked at it like this as well. It gives possibility for characters to come from an estranged land.

I say we also need a pirate area. or random ship mobs that wander around attack, and steal from people who wander the area.

We have one already.
