If you want FL to benefit from FB then you will need to make it so to play FL al you need is FB. Then your tapping into the community, until then all your doing is trying to fit square pegs into round holes.
FL with a built in chatroom? No thanks. I prefer our multi-tiered approach we currently have with the FB, me being able to CHOOSE MY OWN MUD PLATFORM (Gmud all the way baby).
As for people deleting, I don't care. It gets the point out. The substance will come from the game play. A rise in playerbase is all we need. Deletions are going to happen. The point is to get the message out. Substance is everything else in game. You can quantify quantity, but quantifying quality is difficult at best.
And as I recall, people have multiple FB accounts for certain Zynga games. Like players have multiple characters. Does having multiple characters detract from substance? Does switching between characters detract from substance? Is there a difference between a character not being around for more than few hours a week an entire month and then popping up again next month for several hours a week because a player is switching characters in and out versus someone who puts in time, deletes, and starts a new one? I don't believe so. It's just a different month.
EDIT: With all due respect, I retreat from this thread. Good luck!
