I was thinking how we can poison plague to lower STR or weaken. And how we can slow to cut haste. And y to cut INT.
But there is nothing to drop CON or WIS.
This is quite interesting. while WIS has little impact on game CON is important to regen and mal saves.
I was thinking more specifically on necros attack plans.
How they can work on:
- power word combo
We could have some CON debuf (-5) to aid the powerword.
I was thinking of some sort of poison. These normally strike CON, and a very tiny hp damage would prevent the use of sleep for both. Even with no poison it would be interesting.
PWK needs absolutely no help landing. Even on mag resist races.
Yet again we run into the play one then offer advice scenario.
If that is for me, I have 3 pinacle necros.
And I will ask you how many times did you die to PWK?
I in quite some years here I only died to it once, on Halloween madness.
I had some very experienced necro try to PWK one of my Elf Clerics only to give up. Cause he took to much rounds to land the grasps.
So yes, i think this is interesting.
I have died to Pwk a few times. Most necros just skip it in favor of their pets.
I'd like to see somoene skilled with Necromancers play a Lich...most I have seen (myself included) play more in line with the bmage/invoker side.
Whorevale played a lich very well.
It's because I fought most classes differently from eachother and changed tactics based on opponent eq, class, and my understanding of their skill. ^_~
Necros are like ninjas, but they just have other worthy skills than PWK (assassinate).
PWK is fine.
I have used it many times to great success on very necro I have played.
Even to the point of losing pets and then STILL winning with PWK.
