Ping command.

Something I was tooling around with on one of my projects is a ping command for a game. It is easy to throw in, an can measure the clients latency to the server. Since lag here is a major issue for some players, perhaps adding a ping command in this game might be beneficial?

I would love that.

Although I believe we can still ping the server via cmd.

We can also traceroute, finger, netstat, DDOS attack, whois, bake cookies, ACK spoof, and host a mud game via cmd. I don't think most people know how or have time to during pk. If it would be a difficult task, I would say scrap it, but it seems like something that would be easy enough.

this would actually be very beneficial, knowing whether it is a "good time" to engage a particular enemy. Some fights will be over quick, so there is know leeway for lag at all. Other fights can last over a half hour, so you can trust that the lag would not likely be the determining factor in final outcome.
