New Command 'Close Eyes'

The current character I'm playing can see in the dark. I never thought of this as problem until it came time to train blind fighting. Considering I can't just remove my light and go wailing away at stuff, it makes me wonder why there isn't simply a command 'Close eyes' or 'Blindfold'.

No I'm not complaining about it being hard to train. (Even if it is extremely so for me and my lack of knowledge.) I just wondered what anyone else thought of the idea. I don't see the OPness of it in anyway other than someone like me forgetting about it and typing it in a fight, and it's just a little cosmetic perk for training a skill.

I've had problems with this too. Quite annoying, but I just took it as a price I had to pay for having this perk.

I kind of did when I thought of it, and come on, you don't see the uber warriors in the movies wandering around going 'Hey man, kick dirt in my eyes!' You see their masters going 'Shut your eyes! Your other sense are superior!' So that when the bad guy does kick dirt in their eyes they are like 'Muahahaha! You have released my secret mojo! Die!'

Side note: I should totally write scripts for Hong Kong Style Martial Arts Movies.

training. Well, never played a class with blind fighting, so I cant say i feel yoiur pain. But you know how good it feels to type PROF ME MASTERED

Remove the light and fight vampires.

Otherwise, I don't have anything against the idea of a "close eyes" command.

Blind yourself, then try blind fighting, there is a fairly easy way of doing so, along the lines of that tasty mushroom growing in everwild.

Cold blooded creatures can not be seen by infravision. Such as mosquitos. Orcs kick dirt, so do the canibal hunters. There is an eyeball in the witches cauldron in the high tower, if you get it out of the cauldron you will be blinded. Anger enough hands and eyes on your way up and walk blindly back down.(this one requires a lower rank) There are many ways to accomplish it, just be sure your not hitting the enemy, and it will go quickly.

Falen Dara is the best place to train blind fighting as someone who has infravision. Why? Because sliths are cold blooded as Croyvern has pointed out.

Snails in the sewers too, though severely weak just thought I'd point it out.

Some things in the elemental canyon work as well.

Not trying to be a pain, however, all of the ideas except Anume's didn't pan out, and dang it's hard not to kill the mobs in elemental canyon. hehe. I'll work on it.

I see the sliths at night, the vampires, the mushroom hates me and doesn't work on my eyes.

Do I have Super-Infravision or am I being weird and it's something to do with something else? Yes I'm taking my light off. lol
