Evangelion
Transformers: Worst movie I've ever seen. Much like Ghost Rider, it was an excellent movie to see with friends and make fun of. However, the movie itself sucked big, hairy balls. Die Hard 4: This was actually a really kick *** movie. Especially the very end. Go see it. crackwilly21
I knew transformers would suck! I've always pretty much hated giant robot combat themed shows/movies. Except the Big O...the soundtrack to that show is amazing. But, Die Hard 4 seems awesome.
Evangelion
Actually, what makes it really disappointing, is that Transformers had a really good soundtrack.
inscribed
haven't seen yet myself, but my trusted group of reviewers have all given transformers unanimous praise. i remain optimistic until i see it.

CruelEdict
Damn. I have heard a few good things, myself. I watched the show as a kid and had a ton of the toys. In fact, I still own the original movie (which had a great soundtrack!). I may well go see it just to see for myself. The last good movie I saw in the theater was The 300. I've heard of these kind of sickos... Just don't anger it, and back away slowly, and we'll all be alright. Dey
Iyorvin
Well the problem with these movies is the same problem they have always had; big time fans have such high expectations they will recreate the old that they overlook the good in the movie. Go into Transformers and expect nothing. I have to say it was one of the greatest movies I have ever watched. A little lame at some points with their attempts at humor, but it was absolutely spectacular. I will buy it as soon as it comes out on Blu-Ray. Imoutgoodbye
Being a fan of the old cartoons and based on what I've heard of the movie, along with the great cast of producers, directors, AND voices (c'mon, Hugo Weaving as Megatron? Terrific! And the guy who's doing the voice of Optimus Prime was the guy that did it in the cartoon movie. He also does the voice of Eeyore in all the Pooh movies!) this movies sounds terrific. I have high expecations of the Labeouf(sp?) kid. I can't wait for the next Indy movie. Die Hard 4 lived up to all my expectations (crap blew up, lots of bad guys died, reluctant side kick, and yippee kay aye!). Seriously, does anyone ACTUALLY go to a movie just to sit down with an open mind and enjoy themselves anymore? Not to mention the smuggled in bag of Reese's pieces and the soda! Tantangel
I've always found that people who say a movie sucks that was an infamous book/cartoon or the likes are always a bit shallow when it comes to movies because they expect to see something and if they don't it automatically sucks. I'll watch it when it comes out on DVD or something, but I bet anything most people who'll tell you it suck wanted to see more of it to follow along after the last episodes that played a few years back. It's probably more like it's own movie rather than a continuum of the last episodes so it probably was actually good, just not as good as a lot of idiots expectations. Glad I don't really care about how the movie is going to be, just whether or not it'll be good to watch a few times regardless of what cartoons and such were like. Evangelion
I didn't watch Transformers as a kid, so I didn't have super high expectations going in. I just thought that, as a movie, it sucked ***.
corpsestomp
I thought both were awesome. I could not have asked for a better pair of movies to watch this summer. Out of curiosity, what was so wrong with Transformers that it gets a 'sucked ***' rating out of you?
Dead Voodoo Doll
Gotta go with Iyorvin on Transformers. Thought it rocked, big fan of the cartoon growing up but didn't hype myself up before I went.

Evangelion
Problem One: Dialogue Problem Two: Acting Problem Three: Plot Holes Problem Four: Too much reliance on Special Effects Problem Five: Using the "more than meets the eyes" line not once, but twice Problem Six: Too Long I will give more details as to each of these problems later. However, for the moment, I'm going to go see Blue Oyster Cult perform.
Dale
Are you kidding me, the movie got really good reviews, I haven't seen it myself but I'm sure it's a good movie. I can't believe your bashing it so hard, the cartoon wasn't even ever that good, the voice acting in that was really sucky. Too much reliance on special effects? Damn, I guess they had a problem finding real cars that could transform into robots.

inscribed
Just got back from seeing. ****ING AWESOME. Couldn't have possibly been a better Transformers movie. The campy story, the awesome fights, the cheesy dialogue, the ending monologue to recap the morals of the story. Good god its like I'm 8 again. Loved it. I take back anything bad I have ever said about Michael Bay.
