Aulian
If its before you have actually downloaded the stuff, and just downloaded the torrent, just open the torrent and it will start downloading the stuff.
kahlos
With your torrent browser, open the torrent file that you just downloaded and it should connect to people who have the file.. I think. I've only used it once ever.

songofsixpence
if you've already extracted the AVI files from the archive and they still aren't playing. then you may have a bad torrent. otherwise, go check your audio and video codecs for your media player, and make sure you have everything updated. also, use a different player other than what comes proprietary as they tend to support more types of files. i would highly recommend VLC Media Player, i've had lots of luck with that one. also...make sure you're extracting them before you try and load them. media players aren't able to read unextracted files. hope this helps, if not, just PM me and i'll see if i can give you some more specific details. elfdude
don't be a nub and search for the formats that you need, alot of the common formats that are used for torrents aren't on most people's computers. if you can't figure this out then don't dl it because you can dl some laughably large viruses if you're not careful/smart
a-guitarist
Elfdude, cut him some slack. Everyone needs to start at the beginning. No one is born with the vast knowledge of talking about getting laid by every chick they see, drinking for too much beer, talking too much smack, and download torrents which, when put together, makes them the ultimate internet badass like yourself. Oh. And this isn't a flame, Elfdude and I go way back. a-g
