Alright, I was trying really hard to clean up my act, and be a good player. But, it got me jack ****. Ganged by pinns, then attacked and full looted by a group mate for no reason. **** this ****, I'm out for quite some time. Tired of the bull**** thats been going on, especially when I'm trying to do things the right way. Bugs screwing me on more than one occasion, and just the general downfall of the quality of people that play here makes me sick. Nothing at all against the imms. If you want to leave then leave do it in silence. Players are just players and the game will go on. Its never good to see one go but I can't stop you.

I do object to you coming here with a post that is (borderline) flame baiting as you leave. That's just poor form. That isn't what FL is about.

Iyorvin, Bite me. I never cheated, and never did anything really bad. I had a few OOC contacts, and I dropped aim, that was how I was "cleaning up my act" My history here is not a shady one, as I've always followed the rules, and only on 2 occasions been accused of cheating, and those were circumstancial. I never used Bull**** tactics. I can't say the same for others, though I'll leave names out once again. Anyway, no offense intended to anyone else, except well...you can guess. Either way, peace, and thank all of you who weren't total douches, and actually made the game fun, instead of ruining it.

Where is this book of BS tactics I am missing? Anyway, you called out every player in the game and said they all suck. You're going to get a slap back, you better expect it. All BS tactics that I know are against the rules, and thus up to you to pray/prayer forum/note. I guess I just am missing something. At any rate, I was pulling your post a part, not stating anything from my perception of you as a player.

My peeve is this thread itself, and the lack of value it has to a community.

BS Tactics 210 is what you're missing Festy. Such things include making and are not limited to having someone come thinking they're ranking but really it was just one big plan to utterly destroy the person.

Someone tells you 'Lets hunt, you're be our third.'

You tell Someone 'Okay, where at?'

Someone tells you 'Some place depending on lvl'

You tell Someone 'Alright, I'll be there in a moment.'

*You get there and the person is there but the person they said they were with is no where to be seen. Sounds fishy, but not to your unsuspecting foe.*

You say 'So where's the other guy?'

Someone says 'He's on his way, lets get started though while we wait. You'll have to take the hits though, I'm in no way capable of doing so.'

You say 'Fine by me as long as the other guy is when he gets here.'

Someone says 'That's fine, lets go.'

*Continues to go through the area to rank up. All the while you're getting your *** kicked because well, you can't defend yourself for **** with one-two defenses and start to wonder why the other guy doesn't take the hits, he has two-three defenses after all.*

You say 'Sorry, but I need to rest an hour or two before I continue, they hit me rather hard and often.'

Someone says 'That's fine.'

You go to sleep.

That wasn't the case at all, and at any rate it doesn't matter. And to clear things up a little more, I wasn't calling out the entire Pbase. I'm sure there are still people here that have some class in them, and I'm positive there are those that don't. My statement was directed toward the latter.

That is what you get from playing evils/with evils.

Evils aren't supossed to be a brotherhood, they are supossed to be backstabbing traitors. With evils killing evils, in very interesting ways.

In truth, people asking you to group and then killing you is a lot rarer than you think. If you kill group mates you are going to find yourself short of groups to reach lvl 50. No one will want you around on eq trips.

Some people have been known to pay Heralds to get the word out to everyone about such people.

In short, it sounds fun but is a lot more trouble than its worth.

I used a similar tactic with my thief on a player I couldn't find, though I dropped plenty of RP hints to suggest that I wasn't "legit". In a nutshell:

"Hey, I have a piece of phat lewt I don't need. Want it? For free?"

"Yeah, okay, where are you?"

"Crystalmir Caverns."

I then dropped a few hints about a nasty, manipulating, schemeing fellow (made it obvious I was talking about me) but his greed got the better of him unfortunately.

He comes in, completely unprotected, not even sanctuary, flight or anything. Big mistake, and subsequently he deserved everything he got...

...which was me failing my blackjack and him getting my entire set of awesome EQ from my corpse.

That's what I'm saying - he took my EQ. I fully expected it of course, but I actually laughed out loud at myself after I gave him a big speech about how nasty and bad I was, then I got owned so hard. Note to self - don't talk smack if you suck.

Sorry to all who may have been offended by my previous posts... My anger just got the better of me, and I've now cooled off quite a bit.
