Transformers

If you haven't seen this movie yet you should! I expected awesome things of the movie when I walked into the theater last night and walked out amazed. It surpassed all of my expectations and then went even further. I remember when I was 12 (I'm 20 now) and I'd go to my friend's house every morning b4 school would start and watch the episode of the animated Transformers. This movie definitely captured all of what the TV show did and then some. From bits of comedy to edge-of-your-seat thrilling action scenes, I'd have to say it's one of the best movies I've seen this year.

Haven't seen it yet, so I can't make any judgements.

But...it's transformers. It is *supposed* to be campy and lame. That is just the way it works. Thusly, by paradoxical law, it is both lame and awesome at the same time (assuming that you enjoy the campy lameness that is inherent in the show).

Seriously' date=' am I the only one in the world that thought it was kind of lame? I feel like I'm the only sane person in the world when it comes to this movie...[/quote']

I don't like giant robot combat. So any of that stuff is pure nonsense to me. With the exception of the Big O. That shows kinda cool.

Yeah, but you think Burger King is better than MacDonald's so your opinion is null and void to begin with :P

Transformers was awesome - mostly because.....it just was. Cool robots that beat up on each other. Lots of things that blow up, 'Bring the Rain' and Megan Fox. 'Nuff said.

IF you haven't seen it, do yourself a favour: go and see it to be entertained by a cool action movie. If you want the cartoon go rent it and save yourself the price of a movie ticket. Its meant to be different - the guy who did both the cartoon and the movie even said it wasn't meant to be a carbon copy.

As for me - I'll be going to see it on teh big screen again. :D

Its not that I like just BK more than Mac D's. Honestly... ANYTHING is better than Mac D's. I just thought it was awesome to see Ronald get his brains splattered by the creepy burger king guy.

Wake up to the King.

After hearing how they make food here at the BK from people who have worked there I wont eat there, same with certain McDonalds. <3 Jack in the Box though, I just wish it wasn't so damned expensive for me to go eat there, it's a lot cheaper at McDonalds. And with the recent commercials from Wendy's, I could just shoot them.

I think each fast food chain has their "shining" burger/sandwhich if you will. McD's its gotta be the quarter or double pounders. BK has that tendercrisp thingy or even the stacker is decent. The Big W has got this new one with bacon almost like a BK stacker but better I think. All in all these places are good to eat from in moderation and I'm not talking once a week either. maybe like twice a month. Even though I have yet to follow my own advice, oh well...

As for the Transformers, well lets just say it left me wanting more.... I wouldn't say it was awesome but perhaps great would fit. I don't know if there are to be more movies of the transformers but the way it ended it sure feels like it.
