Last time I ever was playing on Halloween Madness was in 2004 and it was my only one. Needless to say I was really put out on it because it wasn't all that great and really rather boring as hell. I'd rather have played my real character instead. Granted I made same character name and ended up getting ganked by 5 people and I believe Balinor was the head of the group, but I barely escaped with my life with like 80hp a few rounds after. If you can't get used to those skill by simply playing a character all the way there or even by seeing how it works by watching someone else play it, chances are you wont understand them anyways for quite some time. Newer/Weaker Players have a complete forum to their disposal as well as help files and PK logs. If they need anything else, they need merely ask, to have such days where people can advance to 50 just to go ape **** and act like children about PK with the total lack of any RP and even with some games, they're not needed to make this game fun. I'll never play on a Halloween Madness again simply because I always saw it more of a way for people to basically take the cheap way out to figure out what various skills did because they didn't know what they did in the first place and just were looking for a way to figure out how to see it work. I hate to be the one to say it....pfft, who am I kidding If you got booted out of your cabal because you didn't want to PK then you shouldn't have been there in the first place. Just because you die in PK isn't a reason to stop. It is a reason to fight on and see what can be learnt. To put it another way: Harden up princess!!! So you have a few lvl 50s - you're not going to 'really' be able to work out all the synergies in a few hours of playing that players who have played the classes for weeks and months know. You're never going to see how to use them in cabals and so on. Generally, its something that happens once a year and is a bit of fun. I was in CHAOS in 1.0 and got my @$$ kicked all the time and was never booted. I suppose it depends on the situation - most IMMs I've interacted with usually try to help you to you get better... Of course, if this was 2.0 and it was some dumbf*** mortal leader who did this then 'nuff said. I lead NEXUS a couple of times and never booted anyone just because they died.
