Haymaker can what?
Smoking in Combat.
facepalm Mya... just stop. Please.
No really. Haymaker used to be a Dispel. And dispel does not drops Dirt kick.
Does Haymaker now drops dirt kick?
Forgot that it drops monks stances, and Dispel does not.
Dirt Kick, really? ![]()
I think it does. Not 100% certain though.
Bogus!!!
Haymaker DOES NOT drops dirt kick.
Btw you know what, I would suggest wielding a weapon/shield (when you get disarmed) in combat to lag you for 2 rounds. I've seen this on other muds ![]()
It does. I really hate when berserkers are spamming haymakers as I'm ranking in a group with dirt kicking ability. They always used to knock the dirt out of the mob's eyes.. perhaps this has been changed?
Checked today. It did not clear Dirt kick on mobs.
Mastered, SkullCrusher!!!
Haymaker has never dropped the dirt kick effect.
It used to, for sure. I also remember it happening to mobs while ranking.
I cannot recall a time when it ever did so. Without logs I just do not believe you, sorry.
Don't recal haymaker dropping dirt kick or monk stances. Though the only problem I had with this smoking in battle thing was as a zerk. I'd spend countless rounds trying to get that haymaker in, rage, then see them just smoke without me even getting a unsanc'd hit in. Sometimes I'd try to get dirt in there eyes first but by the time I get a successful haymaker off dirt rubs out of their eyes and they can smoke again.
Checked today. It did not clear Dirt kick on mobs.
Mastered, SkullCrusher!!!
FYI - Skullcrusher does not increase the chance of haymaker landing. Its only effect is to bypass shield block.
I've never seen haymaker get rid of dirt kick. However, it has 'dispelled' monk and blademaster stances from the beginning of time. Berserkers weren't known as 'monk killers' for nothing - and until the change to dragon stance monks were litte more than a speedbump for a dual axe wielding zerk. Now you have to be a little smarter about it.

Great, now I can't remember if berzerkers suck or if berzerkers are overpowered. I'm sure it's one of the two.
Argh! Thanks a lot.
Zerks to me are like monks. They look great on paper and when things go their way they kick major tail, but they are unreliable and can get beaten horribly at any time.
Zerkers are a utility class built for only specific classes, depending on the choice they make..
Fury - Strictly versus warriors, blademasters, or any other 'wielder' of weapons with third attack or more.
Anger - Strictly versus mages, or any wielded of shields. You can easily make a mage have a bad day, and fast.
Destruction - Both. I found that with the destruction path I could dominate both sides, yet I had to be VERY careful how to do it. I never raged in melee versus melee unless absolutely sure I'd steamroll. Against every mage/half-mage I raged immediately and usually did very well.
I think the Fury side needs a boost, simply because if I want to play a class that beats on other warriors I'd roll a Blademaster or Warrior, not the fury berserker. The other two.. I'd play again. Fury? Never, ever ever again.
Gorbak was fury, I liked that path a lot.
