f0xx
There are quite good descriptions of all of the perks, but the unlucky perk one....I just don't understand it and especially this part - "but you tend to grow healthier with ranks." Does it mean you get more HP per rank for which you pay with low luck and if yes, does the lucky perk mean the opposite - less HP per rank but more luck overall? snoreal
If you would naturally gain 10-15 hp/rank, with unlucky perk you would gain 11-16 hp/rank.
Tantangel
Lucky perk says nothing of any draw backs, so you're basically just luckier than usual which can be very useful in instances of mages since luck seems to play a factor in how successful you cast spells. I've failed more sanctuary casts with no luck and it mastered than full luck and at 90%.
mya
I never missed my santuary with it mastered. Luck or no luck.
Mudder
Unlucky perk means you will normally have average to below average luck... But you will gain slightly more HP per round.
a-guitarist
Here's what I think. Luck is taken into account for a lot of skills and inner workings of things in the mud. I don't know what they are for sure, but it has been my experience that you gain more HP the luckier you are. And it has also been my experience that the increase in HP from the unlucky perk isn't that much. So, I think it's about even in regards to HP, but with the lucky perk, you also have a higher instance of luck all around. a-g

Mmm Coffee
I say this... There's much more HP gear availabe than luck gear.
Tantangel
Yeah, but usually the luck gear is in a lot of +amount and you'd probably only need just that one rather than a whole heap of +luck gear.
