Grim_Reefer
Hi, I have a Whirlpool Calypso washing machine that keeps giving me an error message that says "FL" (no ****). I looked it up and it says that it is flooded. Supposedly, it will drain itself and continue working properly if I reset it.... however, that couldn't be further from the truth. Anyway, can anyone give me some sort of advice or guidance as to fixing my washing machine? Because I am trying to holler at this girly, and I figure it is time to shower more than once every 3 weeks and to stop wearing the same clothes for like months at a time. Tantangel
Maybe it's trying to communicate to you saying you either need to stop FLing too much or maybe it wants to FL too? I'd try and get someone to repair it if it doesn't cost too much, or you could try and drain it yourself, which means you'll have to syphon it out some way. I've never had a washing machine problem, it's usually the damned drier coil or something that goes wrong and the clothes never get dried even if you put them in three or four cycles. Grim_Reefer
I haven't FL'ed in a long *** time, but I am thinking about rolling a character. Anyway, I don't know, I think maybe like some coins are something are jammed in the impeller on the drain pump maybe... Thats the best theory I have. Washer surgery time. Dizz
Why in the world do you have a digital washing machine?!?! I suggest you relevel it by tipping it forward about 5 inches and dropping it back down. Otherwise bail it out and restart it at a drain cycle. If the problem continues call your dealer and chew them out for selling you a digital washing machine. The thing runs with water and moves around a bit. No reason to mix a computer chip up with that. Guest emp_newb
just run it empty to the spin cycle, if that does not work, kick it.
corpsestomp
Wash any pillows or other fluffy stuff lately? We had a set of pillows self-destruct in the washer, and it clogged up the piping, I (never done plumbing type work) tore it apart, cleaned it out and put it back together. I'd suggest bailing whatever water out that you can, and make sure you're not on carpet. An empty cylinder =/ empty washer.

On a lesser note, I'd suggest washing your clothes at a laundromat, so you don't have to holler at her, girls prefer your inside voice.

Grim_Reefer
Problem has been solved. I looked up a diagram of the inner mechanics of the washer, located the drain pump, busted that bitch open and took that bastard out. There was like a big piece of fabricy nonsense lodged in the impeller... so I was like, "Whatever, dumbass." and I pulled that ho out with some needle nosed pliers. 5 buckets of standing water in that thing... was horrible. Pali
If all else fails, check the manual. If that fails, try everything else again, then call tech support.
