kahlos
Do you have probs with anything else? I use a wireless router/modem and never had problems connecting.. cept lag spikes. Or maybe the mud is down? Actually.. on that note, a few weeks ago my client won't connect too. Told me my IP address was banned. The MUD wasn't down too.. 2 days after that, I could log on with no problems.

Tantangel
Yeah, some laptops when getting them new along with new wireless could have a firewall set up blocking a lot of incoming/outgoing accesses. I know that when I first got mine it kept asking me whether I'd allow the system to connect to the internet I kept having to hit yes and all the time, otherwise I'd have to tinker with it in admin controls, but that was just to get to regular old internet, it stopped asking me by the time I started playing again since I had a different firewall program. Chromatic
I've been having problems since buying my new wireless router about a week ago with frequent disconnections from the MUD. Any advice?
Kyzarius
open up the mud port in the wireless settings on the router, turn off the firewal in your wireless router
