races

lets get some new races, vulns, perks! Last new race we got was Feral, that was AGES ago. I say we brainstorm on new races! I wanna see Rat people, I wanna see Chaos Halflings! Lets get going people!

let's scrap half-elf and do a race called half-blood...which will be a mixture of human with other humanoid races of aabahran...half-drow/half-elf/half-dwarf/half-avian/half-feral (maybe)...so, it would be up to their description to give away what mix they might be...or something noticed with direct interaction...just a thought...

depending on said mix would also determine align/guild

Dragons or draconians

I like the idea of Draconian type races with align determined by the blood you started as. For example a Draconian gold dragon egg would be chaotic evil, while a red would be lawful good. You could also have racial perks. Like a gold would have higher int/wis. A red could have a breath weapon, a black might have a wounding bite etc etc.

Not trying to flame but I think you might have that backwards The-Nameless. It seems that evil dragons should hatch from a red egg and goodly dragons should hatch from gold eggs. If you were to do it that way of course.

Evil draconians are made from corrupted eggs of good dragons. Thats why an Aurok (smartest, and the best spellcasters of evil dracos) is gold.

Where as "good" draconians, are made from the blessed eggs of evil dragons. I will see if I cannot dig up how.

Hrm. I didn't think of D&D rules. You could very well be right and prob are. I haven't referenced them in sometime. I was thinking dragons not draconians. I stand corrected, my mistake.

I'd like to see a neutral Erudite-like race maybe. I want to play a "smart" neutral race that isn't a midget.

edit: the link is a reference to the Everquest Erudite race. My suggestion is something similar. :-)

What about imps? There have been enough of them qclassed.

Faerie - Deykari

Deykari isn't here anymore so the best we can do to fill that roll is imp.

Aasimar and Tieflings are sweet.

Orcs and trolls are another idea.

I like the idea of Sea elves. That can probably hide on water. Or another aqua based race that has more water elemental properties. Such as water based bashes/charges or innate spells like jet steam. Never understood why Storms don't have water based bashes like Fires have ice bashes. Maybe it has something to do with their vulns. Even so I still see Storms as inferior to Fires. Upping the perk on the good aligned Slith seems like a good idea. Perhaps give them greater regeneration. I always wanted to see another race similar to ogres but without the massive base hp just the regen. Lycan would be a sweet race or qclass in fact hmm probably the missing neutral qclass that can be the counterpart of vamps that fl needs. I'd still love to see different levels of the undead with different abilities. Such as Zombies, Ghosts, Ghouls. Popular restrings continue to be Orcs, Goblins, and Trolls maybe we should start with them?

This could be a great base for a troll race.

PS. Fire giants don't have ice bashes, nor fire ones too.

Fire giants used to have fire bashes... as I understand that was removed.

They still do.. though it's infrequent and there's a chance that it'll be a fiery bash/bodyslam.

Ever bashed/bodyslammed a feral while enlarged? === and >>> damage, sometimes.

Oh I did say ice bashes didn't I I meant to say fire bashes and yes its mostly still around just the wording of the effect was changed for some reason, I personally think the change is a bit bland.
