Deykari
1. Organise a multi-national FL meet-up where we fly people from all over to a hotel for a few days, for some crazy partying. I'd love to get Twinblades so drunk he collapses in a heap of his own sick, and we undress him, cover him in food and draw on him, before rolling him outside and taking photos of him receiving dirty looks from the general public. 2. Have a Knight Leader (I have had the idea in mind forever - background, personality, the full works, just not the PK stones to back it up). 3. Have an evil Bard (completely for roleplay reasons, another character idea I've had forever). Dey

Twinblades is that cheap, that if you know how to haggle, he'll pay YOU instead of having to pay him. He's depositing the £995 into my bank account as we speak. A big mac? 1.Get past T in a cabal. 2.Learn desolation, winter, discord, gear. 3.Play every form of demon. Then attempt demon bard.

WagesofSin
Wow, this is really old and back then I wrote: 1. Learn of the best wares and where/how to get them. 2. Play melees. 3. Get a title. 1. I know of most items, have them identified and all. I know where most can be found, but don't quite feel confident enough to lead a group to get them. 2. I've just started to learn and play melees succesfully. Man, took me three years to get here O.o 3. Well, Fiery Faerie of the Righteous Brotherhood may not have sounded very macho, but it'll do! Some new ones: 1. Get a lvl 30 qrace/qclass. 2. Get into every cabal and subcabal. 3. Start my own clan.
Sandbox
hmm... i'd say: 1- learn the end game items 2- get a demon or undead 3- have a positive pk ratio in a cabal.
Guest emp_newb
hmm... i'd say: 1- learn the end game items 2- get a demon or undead 3- have a positive pk ratio in a cabal. Alot of vets do not even know end game areas. I have had 1 undead, 1 sader, 1 psi. EVER. Positive pk ratio is actually above average. At this point in FL most of us can play competantly with anything, and are able to use classes effectively. Breaking even in pk ratio is a much better target. I barely see myself doing this most times
KRins
1- Get any qclass (and not blow the quest...) 2- Finally play a convincing evil 3- Have a memorable character for something other than being the world's punching bag.
Zhokril
Yeah, to echo what emp_newb said, it is actually the overwhelming minority to have a positive PK ratio. Plenty of "vets" here often don't.

Iusedtobesomebody
Yeah' date=' to echo what emp_newb said, it is actually the overwhelming minority to have a positive PK ratio. Plenty of "vets" here often don't.[/quote'] Which means while they "know the shinies" and how to wear them, they have forgotten the most important FL skill: how and when to flee effectively. I used to say triple digit kills/sub-5 deaths meant you were good with any given character. Taking the statement above into account... I'm flabbergasted. Guest emp_newb
you also have to take into account a few other variables. Primarily is the skill of the pbase. I am fairly confident you could take a few of the average vets here, drop them into 1.0 and they would be STEAMROLLING. Then there is also the size of the pbase as well.
